Lavander Plant Photography | The right season where they bloom!

in Photography5 years ago (edited)

Went outside today for a fresh air and came across to this Lavander Plant.

Lavander plants are commonly known to bloom during spring time and best to prune right after they bloom or flower. It has to be cut into the woody stems as that could kill it. If you take flower stems off to dry them, that is also pruning. When cutting, try pull them off leaving a bit of bark take off the bottom leaves and put them in a mixture of sand and soil as what we commonly do when planting. After that, make sure to place them to a shady place and keep watered and they will root in no time. Lavander also is best to plant in the Sun or under direct sunlight area.

Have a great purple day to all!!

Every one of your lavender images is breathtakingly beautiful! @wilsonblue5💜🌿💜

Do you know about the Always a Flower comminity and #alwaysaflower hashtag hosted by @dswigle? Your post is an excellent fit!

Thank you Nina, I haven't heard of that. Have to check that out then!

Wonderful! I think your flower related posts will get more views if you use the #alwaysaflower hashtag. And you can edit to add the tag into your most recent posts. I think only the first five are searched (and the first cannot be modified). Good luck!💕

Thank you for that!

You're welcome!💫
