Loneliness at Jeckyll Island — Soledad en Jeckyll Island (En/Es) | Seaphotography Contest

To the users of Hive, the name of Jeckyll Island might not be unfamiliar. It is an island at the coast of the state of Georgia (USA), there are beautiful houses and it used to be a resort for rich people. It is famous because the Federal Reserve was conceived in a meeting there in 1910.

Some years ago I visited this island. There is a beach with plenty of driftwoods, which give a desolated view, but very interesting for the photographer. The image that I show today was taken during this visit.

Para los usuarios de Hive, el nombre de Jeckyll Island no debe ser extraño. Es una isla en la costa del estado de Georgia (EE.UU.) donde se encuentran casa majestuosas y era un resort para personas ricas. Es famosa ya que la Reserva Federal fue planeada en una reunión realizada en esta isla en 1910.

Hace unos años la visité, en una de sus playas se encuentran muchos troncos lanzados lanzados a la costa por la marea y corriente marinas dando un espectáculo bastante desolador, pero muy interesante para el fotógrafo. La imagen que muestro hoy fue tomada en esa ocasión.

      Nice one! Dead trees always have something special. You were a bit unlucky with the shadow on the foreground, but nonetheless a cool photograph!

        I agree with you. However the shadows were beyond my control. I try to minimize this shadow when I edited the image.
