When we submit this ability to the compositional process of music, having clear what we want to transmit and generate in ourselves and in others, we achieve that the different elements and resources that we use adhere to perfection, associations that are conjugated within the creative process of the areas immersed in the musical composition. Although the result is to be shared, there is a succession of actions and feelings that are only perceived by the artist, and as he can, according to his own understanding of the world around him and his musical understanding, he interprets it in the form of sound and poetry. The musical composition, internalized and organized from within, leaves a great learning and self-knowledge, contributing to the evolution and personal growth.
El poder creativo no tiene límites. Cuando sometemos esta habilidad al proceso compositivo de la música, teniendo claro lo que deseamos transmitir y generar a si mismo y en otros, logramos que los distintos elementos y recursos que usamos se adhieran a la perfección, asociaciones que se conjugan dentro del proceso creativo de las áreas inmersas dentro de la composición musical. A pesar de que el resultado es para ser compartido, existen una sucesión de acciones y sentimientos que solo los percibe el artista, y como puede, según su entendimiento propio, del mundo que lo rodea y de su comprensión musical, lo interpreta en forma de sonido y poesía. La composición musical, internalizada y organizada desde lo interno, deja un gran aprendizaje y conocimiento de sí mismo, aportando a la evolución y crecimiento personal.

The Colombian artist Shakira presented a few days ago her latest musical production called "Acróstico", where the intellectual effort wrapped in art is reflected, a clear sample of adequate alignment between her feelings and her music, together with the message that she has transmitted and made clear. The musical production has been dedicated to his children, Milan and Shasa, a heartfelt song where these children have a great participation overflowing their talent. So, let's start by knowing what an acrostic is; it is a poetic form where a vertical message is composed parallel to the horizontal phrases. Let's see how the Colombian star did it (probably works properly only for the Spanish language):
M: You taught me that love is not a scam.
I: I tried not to let you see me cry
L: Things are not always the way we dream them
A: Sometimes we run but we don't get there

Understanding this, we can notice that the song honors the concept of acrostic. More than a beautiful and sensitive song, it is evident the effort Shakira made to link the dedication to her children with a particular poetic composition, in addition to the projection she made of her music in the visual, highlighting her personal experiences she is going through.
La artista colombiana Shakira presentó hace pocos días su última producción musical llamada "Acróstico", dónde se refleja el esfuerzo intelectual envuelto en arte, una clara muestra de adecuada alineación entre sus sentimientos y su música, aunado al mensaje que ha transmitido y dejado bien en claro. La producción musical se la ha dedicado a sus hijos, Milan y Shasa, una sentida canción donde estos niños tienen una grandiosa participación desbordando su talento. Entonces, empecemos por saber que es un acróstico; es una forma poética en dónde se compone un mensaje vertical paralelo a las frases horizontales. Veamos cómo lo hizo la estrella colombiana (probablemente funcione adecuadamente solo para el idioma español):
M: Me enseñaste que el amor no es una estafa
I: Intente que no me veas llorar
L: Las cosas no son siempre como las soñamos
A: A veces corremos pero no llegamos
N: Nunca dudes que aquí voy a estar
S: Se nos rompió solo un plato, no toda la vajilla

Entendiendo esto, podemos notar que la canción honra al concepto propio de acróstico. Más que una bella y sensible canción, es evidente el esfuerzo que hizo Shakira para enlazar la dedicatoria a sus hijos con una composición poética particular, además, sumarle la proyección que hizo de su música en lo visual, destacando sus vivencias personales por las que atraviesa.

The Colombian singer presented to the world two visual proposals, a video lyrics and a videoclip where her children are present. The video lyrics is an illustration in the best style of a children's book, this is in line with the love that a mother has for her children. In the video it is shown how mother bird protects her chicks triumphing in life at the end of the road all together. Probably, speculating on Shakira's personal life, this flying symbolizes moving to other lands. Similarly, the video clip shows the dedication she gives to her children, as well as visual codes that represent her personal life. The use of shadows and low lighting in the objects and some spaces is quite significant with an abundant semantic load. We can understand that these objects belong to the children, and with the presence and absence of light in these, in some way or another it is evident that cycles have been closed with those objects and in those spaces. This is in accordance with the scenes that make reference to a move, chaining the whole message without further interpretation. When we see all those packed boxes we can interpret that all the objects when the illumination was removed was because they were going to be packed. Similarly, the photographs of the family play a memorable moment, as when we leave one place and move to another. The presence of the plane is key to understanding this point in the journey. The nostalgic scene of Shakira playing the piano, in a half-darkened room with all those boxes behind her, is quite significant, alluding to the emotions of leaving a place you have grown fond of and moving to another.
La colombiana presentó al mundo dos propuestas visuales, un video lyrics y un videoclip donde hacen presencia sus hijos. El videolyrics es una ilustración al mejor estilo de un libro infantil, esto va en consonancia con el amor que tiene una madre por sus hijos. En el video se muestra como mamá pájaro protege a sus polluelos triunfando en la vida al final del camino todos juntos. Probablemente, especulando sobre la vida personal de Shakira, este volar simboliza el desplazamiento a otras tierras. De manera similar, en el videoclip se muestra la dedicación que le da a sus hijos, además de códigos visuales que representan su vida personal. El uso de las sombras y poca iluminación en los objetos y algunos espacios es bastante significativa con una abundante carga semántica. Podemos entender que estos objetos son de los niños, y con la presencia y ausencia de luz en estos, de alguna u otra forma se evidencia que se han cerrado ciclos con esos objetos y en esos espacios. Esto va en concordancia con las escenas que hacen referencia a una mudanza, encadenando todo el mensaje sin mayores interpretaciones. Cuando vemos todas esas cajas embaladas podemos interpretar que todos los objetos cuando se les quitaban la iluminación era porque se iban a embalar. De manera similar, las fotografías de la familia juegan un memorable momento, como cuando ocurre al dejar un sitio y desplazarnos a otro. La presencia del avión es clave para entender este punto del viaje. La escena nostálgica de Shakira tocando el piano, en un cuarto a medio oscuras y con todas esas cajas detrás, es bastante significativa, hace alusión a las emociones que se producen dejar un sitio al que se le ha tomado afecto para desplazarse a otro.

In the two previous volumes of Magazine Zone we have made reference to the Musical Branding and the Visual Identity of the artist/band and how it is determinant in the compositions and in the general concept of the artistic musical proposal. We have made reference to how visual communication complements to a great extent the musical project. This exercise helps to use the visual elements in an assertive way to express the message that we want to transmit in an adequate way; in this way we provoke to move the emotions of our listeners. To elaborate a small visual communication design, we can make use of keywords that describe the theme or the general concept of the musical project, depending on the case where it will be used. From these keywords you can search to form an emotional message that goes in tune with your music, and then we can visualize more clearly the objects and elements that should be used to convey properly. Of course, this is a very basic way, there are many resources, but it is an effective way to understand these aspects in order to make things attractive and coherent.
En los dos volúmenes anteriores de Magazine Zone hemos hecho referencia al Branding Musical y a la Identidad Visual del artista/banda y como ello es determinante en las composiciones y en concepto general de la propuesta musical artística. Hemos hecho referencia a como la comunicación visual complementa en gran medida al proyecto musical. Este ejercicio ayuda a usar los elementos visuales de manera asertiva para expresar el mensaje que queremos transmitir de manera adecuada; de esta manera provocamos mover las emociones de nuestros oyentes. Para elaborar un pequeño diseño de comunicación visual, podemos hacer uso de palabras claves que describan el tema o el concepto general del proyecto musical, según sea el caso donde se vaya a emplear. A partir de esas palabras claves puedes indagar para formar un mensaje emotivo que vaya en sintonía con tu música, ya luego podemos visualizar más claramente los objetos y elementos que se deben emplear para transmitir adecuadamente. Claro está, esto es una manera muy básica, existen muchos recursos, pero es una forma efectiva de ir entendiendo estos aspectos para lograr hacer cosas atractivas y coherentes.

Recently, we have shared in Magazine Zone, the basic elements of music such as: Melody, rhythm, harmony and articulation. In order to connect this knowledge with practice. We have decided to share a technical musical analysis of the song Acróstico by the Colombian artist Shakira. The melody is characterized by its simplicity and repetitions. It has a simple four-note motif that is repeated throughout the song. The motive is introduced in the first verse and then used to create the chorus, the bridge and the ending. The melody is also accompanied by a simple piano and drum accompaniment. The song is in the key of C major and has a moderate tempo.

Estoy de acuerdo con lo relacionado con la música y lo visual. Una perfecta combinación de ambos hacen que lo que el artista intenta transmitir sea captado con mayor claridad. Además, complementa la identidad del artista.
Con respeto a la melodía, sí, es un ciclo armónico muy utilizado por el pop pero un ciclo armónico que sin duda le han sabido sacar provecho. Pues han salido grandes exitos de la música con estos simples acordes.
