Hello everyone, good day and welcome to what is week 80 Round 2 of Hive Music Festival. I'm Ovey and am so happy to share with you all a cover of “EZE” from the Igbo dialect here in Nigeria.
“EZE” simply means king and in this song God is the one being referred to as the King. This is a gospel worship song by Dare David. I've not heard of any of His songs until recently. I came across this very interesting and simple song of his and it captured my mind a lot.
A king is a ruler and also leader who reigns over a territory or kingdom. A king is expected to have the qualities of leadership and rulership to be able to guide and protect the affairs of his people. In this song by Dare, He mentioned some of the exciting qualities of God and why He remains the King of all kings. God is the most powerful and He reigns both in heaven and on earth and that's the reason why we call Him EZE (King).
He has the power to heal the sick and to raise the dead, He has the power to perform miracles and to turn things around, I mean who can be compared to His Majesty. These are the reasons His name is Highly lifted above every other name. For me, I find every reason to praise God for He has done so much for me and has proven Himself King over the earth entirely.

Hola a todos, buen día y bienvenidos a la semana 80 Ronda 2 del Hive Music Festival. Soy Ovey y estoy muy feliz de compartir con todos ustedes una versión de “EZE” del dialecto igbo aquí en Nigeria.
“EZE” simplemente significa rey y en esta canción se hace referencia a Dios como Rey. Esta es una canción de adoración gospel de Dare David. No había oído hablar de ninguna de sus canciones hasta hace poco. Me encontré con esta canción suya muy interesante y sencilla y capturó mucho mi mente.
Un rey es un gobernante y también líder que reina sobre un territorio o reino. Se espera que un rey tenga las cualidades de liderazgo y gobierno para poder guiar y proteger los asuntos de su pueblo. En esta canción de Dare, mencionó algunas de las emocionantes cualidades de Dios y por qué sigue siendo el Rey de todos los reyes. Dios es el más poderoso y reina tanto en el cielo como en la tierra y por eso lo llamamos EZE (Rey).
Él tiene poder para sanar a los enfermos y resucitar a los muertos, tiene poder para hacer milagros y cambiar las cosas, o sea, quién se puede comparar con Su Majestad. Éstas son las razones por las que Su nombre es muy elevado por encima de cualquier otro nombre. En mi caso, encuentro todos los motivos para alabar a Dios porque ha hecho tanto por mí y ha demostrado ser Rey sobre la tierra por completo.
