Greetings, Hive Music Festival community. I hope you're all doing great and are in top shape. Today, I want to share my entry for HMF week 178. It’s been a long time since I participated; truth be told, it’s been due to work. It’s been tricky to keep up with the Hive dynamic alongside my job, but thank God, more work is coming my way as an English language educator and audio production tutor. This year, despite everything we Venezuelans are still going through, patience and hope have started to fill the streets. In turn, that hope has brought new opportunities that are taken even at full risk, but with a great sense of positive expectation.
Because of what I mentioned above, I’ll be making an effort to keep supporting and doing what I love on Hive. This community has definitely taught me a lot—so much so that when I’m on other Web2 social networks, people tell me how fluidly I speak on camera. I tell them the truth: on Hive, I’ve managed to overcome many fears because there isn't such a wide margin of judgment like on other platforms.
On another note, I sold my pedalboard. It sounded very good and I got the most out of it, though maybe not 100%. Still, I pushed it to the limit for my personal interests. Therefore, moving to a better product will lead me toward new directions and possibilities. I’m bringing this up because I’m currently playing the acoustic guitar. Honestly, I was quite afraid this setup would be rejected by the community, but I see it’s been accepted not just here, but on Web2 and my other social networks as well.
I also had many doubts when producing this arrangement; I thought it wouldn't sound good at all, but I was wrong. It sounds much better than I expected. In fact, even though there’s a lot of fan noise, it actually exposes my full ability as a musician. I also took the time to study some more exotic scales to vary and broaden my musical language.
Playing the acoustic guitar isn't easy. The one I’m using in the video is pretty basic; the action is high and I can’t press the notes on the frets with much agility, which affects the tone and overall performance.

Saludos, comunidad de Hive Music Festival, espero que esten excelentes, y esten optimos, en esta ocasion quiero compartirles mi entra a el HMF de esta semana 178, tenia muchisimo tiempo sin participar, la verdad ha sido por temas de trabajo, ha sido complicado poder mantener la dinamica de hive con el trabajo, y gracias a Dios en camino viene mas trabajo como educador de el lenguaje del ingles, y como tutor para la produccion de audio, este año a pesar de las cosas que aun vivimos los venezolanos, en las calles ha empezado a transitar la paciencia, y la esperanza y su vez, esa esperanza ha traido nuevas oportunidades que incluso se toman a todo riesgo pero con una gran esperanza positiva.
Asi que debido a lo comentado anteriormente estare esforzandome para seguir apoyando y haciendo lo que me gusta en Hive, sin duda esta comunidad me ha enseñado mucho, tanto que cuando salgo en otra red social Web2, la gente me comenta que como soy tan fluido al hablar en camara, pues digo la verdad que en Hive he logrado vencer muchos temores porque no existe un amplio umbral de juicio como en las demas redes sociales.
Por otro lado, vendi mi pedalera, sonaba muy bien, la aproveche, no al 100%, sin embargo la lleve a su limite en mis intereses personales, por lo tanto un cambio a un producto mejor ira encaminandome hacia nuevos rumbos y nuevas posibilidades, y hablo de esta situacion porque estoy tocando la guitarra acoustica, la verdad tenia mucho temor de que este esquema fuese repudiado por la comunidad, pero veo que ha sido aceptada no solo aqui sino en la web2 en mis otras redes sociales.
Tambien tuve mucha duda al hacer la produccion de este esquema, pense que no iba a sonar nada bien, pero me equivoque, suena mucho mejor de lo que pensaba, de hecho a pesar que suena mucho el ruido del ventilador, esto lo vuelve y me expone a la vez en toda mi capacidad como musico, sin embargo aproveche a estudiar nuevas escalas mucho mas exoticas para variar y ampliar mi lenguaje musical.
Tocar en la guitarra acustica, no es facil, esta que uso en el video es bastante basica, la calibracion es ruda y no puedo presionar con agilidad las notas sobre los trastes, el esquema de sonoridad y todo lo que es acorde a una.
