Growing papaya to produce fruit is not easy. In my garden, there are quite a lot of papaya trees but only a few of them bear fruit. Most of them are male. So my family only uses the male papaya tree to produce papaya flowers for salad making.

Thanks for your comment! Yes I know many people use the male flowers for salad. Actually I just cut them except for one or two and keep the females :) They love coffee and tea grounds if you've any around
