Mmm... home-made english muffins!! Yummo. Curious as to what type of pan you use to cook them (heavy cast iron?) and whether you're using gas or electric? I'm not sure our Thai gas stovetop would turn down low enough not to burn these.

so it's a non-stick frying pan, one made of sheet metal and the other thicker but I don't know the material!
It's sure that the minimum of the stove might still be too powerful, I'm on electric and it works pretty well!
