RE: Starting the Year with Good Practices - A Response to Two Questions, by @ecotrain and @naturalmedicine

I never had a diet, I eat like crap, I smoked (well 7 days free) and never have problems quitting, and I drink more beer than I should. I am healthy though because I am always going going going. I work out every day and have a great metabolism for being in my 30s. Lucky me 😁 but I agree that it's about decisions and we ultimately are held responsible. You seem to have a pretty kickass lifestyle and btw how long do you smoke for?

Congrats on your seven days! The toughest part should be over now. And ditto on the !BEER Reminds me of a line from a song by Floggin Molly, which perfectly applies to my wife and me: "You drink too much coffee, I drink too much stout."

As for my smoking, I never actually fully quit. However, since 2001 (check out the detailed story of my smoking year) my consumption on average has been 1-2 cigarettes a month, or something negligable like that. That does not take into account the tobacco I use for rolling splifs, but even that is one per day max.

Hey @balticbadger, here is a little bit of BEER from @stortebeker for you. Enjoy it!
