Sensitive Content (accident)

It is almost impossible for me to question the reason behind things, but there are some that simply have no answer, and we must find a way around them to have something to be grateful for. In this case, after everything went wrong, we must recognize that it could have been worse and that, once again, everything is better.

This is a somewhat complicated and profound thought that can be explained in different ways, but the first thing that comes to mind is how unfair and upsetting it is to go through negative situations, situations of agony, in order to appreciate when we were normal, because if we compare it to the present, before we were fine and now we simply are not.

I am here to tell you about this tragedy that occurred after a motorcycle accident, which is easy to look up and jump to conclusions about, since lately there have been some incredible cases of fatal accidents and a lot of recklessness on the part of drivers. However, here we have a special situation where a simple motorcycle accident almost got out of control.

First of all, I must clarify that this hand and this injury are not mine, but belong to a friend of mine, one of those brothers that the street gives us and teaches us to value.

Unfortunately, yesterday my friend, who works in public services, especially in transportation and making deliveries, suffered a horrific fall and, at the same time, one of the most foolish falls we can imagine.

It all started when this friend began using his motorcycle to do odd jobs and taxi services, which then led him to gain the trust of some locals in the neighborhood. He was currently delivering various products, Yesterday, as he was leaving his house just before entering the highway, he stopped his motorcycle to arrange some of the loads he was carrying, which included boxes, glass bottles in a plastic bag, and two bags of food.

As he stopped to arrange his belongings and prepare to continue on his way, a wrong move caused one of the boxes he was carrying on the motorcycle's tank to roll. To prevent it from slipping, he reached out his hand, causing him to lose his balance and fall to the ground. However, before he fell, a glass bottle fell and broke into several pieces, one of which got stuck in his arm, causing an almost fatal wound.

Incredibly, it was only a cut, but this unusual fall almost caused him more problems than we can imagine, as the cut on his arm caused extensive damage to the tendon in his left hand.

This diagnosis was made after he was rushed to the hospital, where, after an examination, the wound was sutured. However, additional surgery is needed to ensure full function and mobility of his hand.

Less than 24 hours have passed since this accident, and I am posting this here in the community in the hope that we can receive some help to pay for this operation, which must be performed immediately.

An MRI and X-ray are urgently needed before surgery can be performed.

We are normally dealing with day-to-day situations and other circumstances beyond our control, such as meeting the basic needs of a human being. When we are faced with situations like this, we realize the mess we are in, where health is really important, and I feel that very often we do not value that.
