Cassava, a tuber that gives health benefits.

Friendly #naturalmedicine community, it is nice to be here and greet you, I wish you all a lot of happiness.

Today I was visiting the family's land and I found this beautiful cassava plantation.

Cassava is a food rich in fiber, vitamins and carbohydrates, which guarantees a large amount of energy for our body. This tuberous root has properties that help increase serotonin levels (responsible for the feeling of well-being) in our brain.

The health benefits of cassava:

  1. Helps maintain healthy bones and control nerve impulses.

  2. It has carbohydrates, has a high energy value and does not contain proteins. It is rich in mineral salts, such as calcium, iron, and phosphorus. In addition to having B vitamins and large amounts of potassium.

  3. It is an excellent source of vegetable fibers, which help in the proper functioning of the intestine.
