Brewer's yeast, an excellent dietary supplement

I recommend brewer's yeast as a dietary supplement to most of my patients who are on a diet for weight loss or weight gain.

Brewer's yeast is obtained from a micro-organism called Saccharomyces cerevisiae, which ferments wheat and barley.

It is rich in nutrients and can offer many health benefits as it is rich in B vitamins, which are essential for energy metabolism, brain function, skin and hair health, and red blood cell production, which is why I recommend that patients suffering from anaemia add it to their fruit juices.

It also contains a significant amount of good quality protein. essential for the growth and repair of tissues, the synthesis of enzymes and hormones, and the maintenance of a healthy immune system.

Brewer's yeast is also rich in minerals such as zinc, selenium, iron and chromium. These minerals play important roles in metabolism, the immune system and general health.

I also recommend it to patients with constipation or sluggish bowels as it contains natural probiotics that help maintain a healthy balance of bacteria in the gut and promote proper digestion.

It also regulates blood sugar levels and helps to increase muscle mass.

Although it is available in tablets or capsules, I recommend it in powdered or flaked form , preferably unbittered so that it does not change the taste in juices.

In our house we love brewer's and nutritional yeast, such a yummy flavor and I love all of the benefits they impart on our meals. Thanks for sharing about this helpful supplement.

There are certainly not many people who are aware of the benefits of this supplement and not many nutritionists who recommend it.
I congratulate you for discovering it and keeping your family healthy.
