Hello, my friends! The community is bristling with activity right now and it's awesome to be a part of it! We're currently hosting a wonderful challenge about Mental Health and you can all join from every corner of Hive! From a curator point of view, I must admit that I had my work cut out for me with this challenge, there are quite a few great posts to share today and they're all from our very own community!

We've all struggled with inadequacy, emotional balance and the demands of our social life at some point or another, and I think never has that been truer for our generation than during this year, so packed with discomfort, collective anxiety and tough questions. This is why I believe that raising awareness not just about mental health, but about spiritual practices, nutrition and natural medicines is more important than ever.

Let's dive right into it, then!

The first post I want to highlight is from a new arrival, @rawbe, who just recently made his introduction post. Even in the best circumstances, it's tough to open up and publicly talk about our issues, the things that make us feel feeble, discouraged or lost, so I begin this curation with this post to both offer my compliments and show my admiration to one of our newest users for breaking out of the shell and tell us about his struggle with anxiety, and to commend him for this sincere, simple and useful contribution.

Please take some time to upvote and offer your feedback! Supporting our members is always a good idea!

Here are some more helpful tips to deal with mental health issues, this time by the hand of @josehany, a user who has a long track record with DIY work and who's now providing us with some of her insights on how she's managed to find peace and joy in her life despite her issues with sadness. One of the best things she tells us in this post has to do with communication: she's improved her relationship with her mom and that's brought her great comfort.

Don't be shy! Leave her a comment about your own experience!

Following up with another set of good ideas whose application can lead to an enhanced way of living our days. @danielapevs has always been quite active in the topic of mental health, and in this post, she offers excellent advice which she herself has used in order to get a better daily approach to life. I also want to acknowledge this post's great formatting, another trademark of this author!

You can leave her a comment and perhaps encourage her to chat with us more often on Discord! 😁

Any search for greater wellness and any journey through mindfulness should include a revision of the things we consume, what we eat has a lot to do with how we feel about and react to our environment. In this post, @thisismylife shares some insights on how she's approached her issues with depression through an exploration of her dietary habits.

Feel free to let her know what you think in the comments, or perhaps even write your own post!

Silence has been one of the hardest (if not THE hardest) lessons I've had to learn. I used to be very noisy, and thus I sought people and places that sustained and promoted that noise. Now I consider silence paramount for worthwhile living, and I feel so much more comfortable with it than ever before! So I join @fenngen in his declaration of gratefulness for silence, and encourage you all to explore this training, it's tough but so magnificent!

How have you worked with silence? Share some thoughts on this post!

I've dealt with tremendous levels of anger my whole life, it's my strongest emotion, and I've had to train for years in order to find the inner balance required to approach and use it constructively. Physical engagement, particularly with combat, has been by far the most helpful practice that I've found for this, and I've found lots of value in anger and aggression, as a driver of action and an evolutionary tool for survival and self-assertion. In this post, @manadezo discusses this emotion and gives a few ideas on how to deal with it in a healthier way.

What's your story with anger? Surely the author and many others would love to read your impressions!

I conclude this curation with this awesome post by @juanvegetarian, discussing the purpose of meditation through a description of his own process with it. He talks a bit about the things he's learned with this work, and makes a case of why it's important to include it in our daily lives for greater inner peace and connection with the Divine.

If you want to share about your own meditative practice, leave him a comment and/or write your account!

¡Buena vibra!

Jajajajajajaja, estupendo! Buena vibra para ti también!

Thank you so much for the mention. I never expected so much support like this. It's quite incredible. I just thought that mental health awareness is a great initiative and want to pitch in however I can. Thanks for starting the conversation about all of this. Sometimes it feels weird to bring problems like that up because of the social stigma but this community has been so supportive.

And thank you for your contribution and for being part of the community. We're certainly able and willing to help in anything that you require. Blessings!
