Hello! I'm from Belarus. In my previous post, I talked about how we like tea from dried linden flowers and what properties linden flowers have:

Today I will talk about another plant from which we often liked to make tea.

The nature of Belarus is rich in a variety of herbs - it is a green country. We live in a small town and here in just 10 minutes on foot you can get into the green zone. Where houses end, meadows and arable lands are spread. And in some yards there is an abundance of various flowers and plants. And today I noticed in one of the thieves a plant that we dried and liked to drink tea from this in winter or spring -this is Hypericum.

I used Hypericum in the form of tea since childhood. It has a peculiar smell and taste. It has many useful properties. In winter cold, it was always a pleasure to drink tea from it, because it raises immunity and fights with avitominosis.

The following medicinal properties of Hypericum I found here:

However, do not forget that the syuboy plant used as medicine may also have side effects. Unfortunately, I learned late that when using Hypericum, you should not take sun baths (sunbathing) as this can lead to hyperpigmentation.

Oooohh!!! Nice to see that growing wild. In English we call that St John's Wort and it has WONDERFUL neuro-protective powers. The hyper-pigmentation I did not know about so thank you, I learned something today.

Thanks for the support! I always see what raster will be called on Wikipedia, since I use a translator to write text and it’s always scary to make a mistake.

I only just learnt the difference between the St John's Wort you get in the wild and the garden cultivated one. The wild one is medicinal, of course, and it's called 'hypercium perfortum' - the difference is the perforated leaves, kindy holey. I'd love to find it wild around here.

Yes! Thank you! Hypéricum perforátum- medicinal plant.
