◆ According to Ayurveda, the nature of every human body is different. According to Ayurveda, there are three main nature of the human body "Vata, Pitta and Kapha". The human body is made up of 5 elements earth, fire, air, water and sky. In the body of Vata nature air and sky are dominant elements, in Pitta nature of body fire and Kapha nature of body earth and water are the dominant elements in the body.

◆ The body of Vata nature is thin, the body of Pitta nature is medium and the body of Kapha nature is thick. What is the nature of the body, it can be found out from a good Ayurvedic doctor. But the topic of the post is how much water should we drink, so let's come back to the topic.

◆ Due to the domiant of air and sky elements in the body of Vata nature, water element is less in them, due to which they feel more thirsty. Due to the dominant fire element in the body of pitta nature, they also need more water. Earth and water are the dominant elements in a body with kapha nature, so in kapha nature, water need is less.

◆ How much water should we drink everyday? The simple answer is that understand the nature of your body, if your body needs more water then drink water whenever you feel thirsty. If your body is not feeling the need of water, then do not drink water forcibly after listening to someone. This can spoil the digestive power of your body.

◆ Most important, always drink water while sitting and taking sips. Try not to drink water or drink less water while eating. Drink water half an hour or an hour after meals.
