Hello everyone,
In this blog i will be taking you to my home garden where i have planted and practiced organic farming in growing Cauliflowers.
What is organic Farming ?
Organic farming is a technique, which involves the cultivation of plants and rearing of animals in natural ways. This process involves the use of biological materials, avoiding synthetic substances to maintain soil fertility and ecological balance thereby minimising pollution and wastage.

This is the field where we planted the peas. It was quite a large field. We also fenced the field to save our plants.
These Baby Cauliflowers plants are planted organically as no synthetic fertiliser, pesticide, insecticide etc has been used. We just used cow dung as manure for the soil and took out the weeds several times during the growth of the plants.
Why to eat organic food ?
Organic foods often have more beneficial nutrients, such as antioxidants, than their conventionally-grown counterparts and people with allergies to foods, chemicals, or preservatives may find their symptoms lessen or go away when they eat only organic foods. Organic produce contains fewer pesticides.

So finally our hard work has paid off as the result has come.
It was a fun day harvesting the cauliflower today. Now I’ll be cooking these cauliflowers in the kitchen when I reach home and i will also share the recipe with you guys.

Oo yes sure that would be a great idea 🙏 but there was recently snowfall here so much of the birds the go to warmer places..
