I didn't realise it was dangerous! I haven't actually done any reserach on it but I keep hearing the name 'kratom'. It goes to show you have to really look into things before just consuming them because some online semi celebrity has said they take it. I'll stay clear thanks, stick to ashwagandwa and other nootropics I know work for me. I definitely don't need another addiction. Thanks very much for posting this!

yeah, the internet celebrity and gym bros are the proponents of kratom. I think many of the blogs out there don't actually talk about the drug interaction and how each dosage may differ from one person to another. I have tried dosing 2g and it already made me lethargic. So, I steer clear of that and will use it only when needed. I am planning to get ashwagandha as I heard many people talk about it but I will have to see the pros and the cons.
Here's another person who also talks about the danger of kratom (addiction and withdrawal)
A really interesting video everyone should watch.. not just if they take or want to take kratom, but any natural product. The wellness industry has a lot to answer for, doesn't it, promoting efficacy without more detailed and overt discussion of contraindications!
And I have to say, ashwagandwa is great. My cortisol levels are up massively at moment and they it helps bring them down.
Good to know!! I am going to an unboxing and review once I got my hands on it.
