Palak Paneer / Spinach Cottage cheese

in Natural Medicine3 years ago (edited)

Hello beautiful foodies! Palak paneer is a vegetarian dish mainly consist of cottage cheese and pureed spinach mildly infused with fragrant spices. However, this luscious sauce can be accompanied with tofu if paneer is unavailable.
Today I am going to share how I cook my palak paneer.

Beforehand, my heartwarming thank you to the team of #naturalmedicine #plantbased #vegan @justinParke @riverflows for this wonderful Plant Power challenge.

Note:
I have blanched the spinach before I pureed
I used 2 bunches of spinach to achieve that greenish beautiful colour of the sauce

This looks delicious, and we thank you for sharing it with us. As paneer is made from cow's milk, I wouldn't recommend using #vegan or #plantbased tags for this recipe. However, #vegetarian would be a good tag, and of course vegetarian foods are welcome in Natural Medicine too. When I make this dish, I use tofu or tempeh as a vegan substitute, it works very well.

Thanks for sharing.

Oh I see . I am truly sorry.
Now it's clear to me.
Thank you very much.

This looks amazing and sooooo yum!! One of our fav local take-aways here in Chiang Mai, Thailand, is a little place called Yummy India and we order this dish often.

Nice to have the step by step of how to make it too!!

Thank you very much. I love this dish too as it is very light in the stomach.

This is not a vegan or plant-based recipe. Paneer should be replaced with tofu to make it vegan.

Yes. It's my mistake.
Now it's clear to me, because honestly I am confused with vegan and vegetarian. Now I know.
Thank you very much.
