  • Also known as pedestrian tea, it belongs to the family Verbenaceae, Rosmaninho (Lippia rotundifolia) is a plant that grows in the Cerrado.

  • Its perfume, especially when it is in bloom, is of a striking and unmistakable herbal sweetness, somewhat reminiscent of the smell of very sweet watermelon.

This plant is unknown to me, but it is very beautiful. It reminds me by the shape of its flowers of the purple cariaquito (Lantana trifolia), although its leaves are different. Thank you for sharing these beautiful photos and this information with all of us. Best regards.
