Welcome to my final Tarot Tuesday post for 2020! I started doing these free readings monthly back in late 2015, then switched to every week in early 2016. They're by far my most popular posts, as well as being one of my favorites to put together. Today's reading is for the week of December 29th 2020.
As I started putting this together, so many things were going through my head about what I wanted to say here in this little space at the top of the post that has become kind of my, "news filler" sort of thing. Now that I have a moment to sit and write, it's all disappeared. Somehow I think that's fitting for how this year has gone overall. So I will simply say thank you to everyone who has supported me over this year with comments, shares, likes, and such. There have been many lows, as well as a few highs, but all of it has been made so much better knowing I have some amazing cyber friends sharing the adventure with me.
And now with that said, it's time to start the reading. The setup of how I do these was not my original idea - I was actually inspired by how a few other bloggers were doing their readings back years ago. And since this method is a little bit different than how some other readers on other social media do them (usually posting the card backs first, then the messages at a later time), here's a quick breakdown on how this works...
First, pick a card you are drawn to from the photo below. If more than one speaks to you, go ahead and pick that one too. You can even pick all three, in whatever order you like!When you've decided on your card (or cards), scroll down to the bottom of the page for the photo revealing the card faces, and your message for the upcoming week.
Also, don't be worried if you don't happen to see this exactly on Tuesday. The message will be ready and waiting for you whenever you get here. 😊
I would also like to mention...
Now here are the backs of the cards for this week. Take a moment to clear your mind, inhale and exhale deeply, center yourself - whatever you need to do to focus. When you're ready, take a look at the photo and then decide which one (or ones) speaks to you. Then scroll down to the bottom of the post for the picture of the front of the cards, and your message.
Next up, as a bit of insurance policy to make sure you don't see the picture of the front of the cards before you've made your choice, I'm putting some of my infographics here as a type of spacer/spoiler prevention. Since tonight is also the Full Cold Moon in Cancer (or in the early morning hours of tomorrow, depending on your time zone), I thought I'd put together a new pair of infographics (same info on both, but sized for Pinterest and Instagram) for this last full moon of 2020. I also shared them in a post yesterday on my Hive blog (and I used the @naturalmedicine front end for the first time - it's pretty neat!)

1. Five of Cups
Snap out of it. You've had a run of bad luck, and it seems like every time you turn around, something (or someone) is knocking over a cup of your happiness. While you're not wrong, you're forgetting something important - you have plenty of other cups still standing. Focusing on what's gone wrong, and what you've lost, won't stand the cups back up again and make the water reappear. Voice your disappointment, give yourself a little time to wallow, then pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and start all over again.
Tarot Tidbit: The Five of Cups hasn't been seen in over a year! The last time it was spotted, it was in the second position, on November 12th, 2019. Interesting enough, the time before that was close to a year prior as well (that time in the third position), on January 8th, 2019.
2. Page of Pentacles
Light bulb moment. You've had a sudden inspiration or revelation, and now you're eager to put things in motion. Go for it! This is a great time to work on manifesting those dreams. Pay close attention to what the Page is doing in this card, though - instead of racing forward, take careful, measured steps, and remember to keep your eyes on the prize and your feet firmly planted on the ground. Set goals, learn the necessary skills, and let common sense be your guide. Slow and steady wins the race!
Tarot Tidbit: The Page of Pentacles hasn't been seen in almost exactly a year! It was last seen, in the third position, back at the beginning of the year on January 7th 2020. Prior to that, it was again close to exactly a year in between visits, having shown up (again in the third position), on December 24th, 2019.
3. Knight of Swords
Charge it! You're ready to run full tilt in a direction, and there's nothing, or nobody, who can stop you. You have the passion and the drive to make things better, and you are ready to face any obstacles in your way. Just be careful that, in your haste to get to your destination, you don't accidentally trample people in your path. Focus, awareness, and a little preparation to go with your enthusiasm will help ensure success. And the reason I said, "Charge it"? Every time I see this card, that's the first thing to pop in my head (thanks, Wilma and Betty!).
Tarot Tidbit: The Knight of Swords was last seen, in the first position, back during the summer on July 7th, 2020. However prior to that, it hadn't been seen in well over a year, showing up in the third position back on May 14th, 2019! And the time before that (when it was also in the first position) was well over a year as well, showing up way back on January 2nd, 2018.

Alright, time to CHARGE IT! I'm plugged in and ready to go, battery is getting fully charged and once it is, 2021 won't know what's hit it!
