¿Conoces las diferencias entre estas flores? Esp/Eng

MARGARITA: Sencilla, elegante y hermosa.

ENGLISH 👇👇👇👇👇

they look quite a lot alike don't they? 🤔🧐 Still, let me tell you that they are 3 completely different plants.

ALTAMISSA, MARGARITA and MANZANILLA.
I leave you some physical differences that are under my comprensión☝️

**SMELL:
The altamisa has a strong aroma (menthol) if you touch it, your hands will be impregnated in its aroma. Chamomile, on the other hand, has a soft, honey-like scent. While daisy/chrysanthemum has a somewhat acidic scent (like grass).

**SIZE:
Daisy/chrysanthemum is usually the largest of the three flowers, while altamisa and chamomile reach a similar size.

CENTER/FLOWERS:
The center of chamomile (yellow color) is protruding to the petals (plump-prominent) while in daisy and altamisa they are rather flat and do not protrude to the size of the petals.
On the reverse side, the daisy has a beautiful dark green pattern (sometimes turning black) and the chamomile reflects its color to the edges of the floret.
Unlike these, the altamisa does not reflect back shades of its interior.

In summer we collected flowers for cosmetics and I took the opportunity to take these photos "reflecting their physical differences" I did not take a photo of the leaves (but they are very different from each other).

How beautiful the appearance of each one and how different from the inside (in the goodness of their properties)💫.

Now, I tell you a little bit about their particularities and how I relate to them 🌼☺️

ALTAMISA: At home, we mostly use it in infusion. This plant calms stomach pains by causing the elimination of flatulence (caused by parasites). It also helps to improve menstrual cramps that cause ovarian pain, producing a kind of natural order (which helps regulate menstrual cycles) and the latter is something that I myself have been able to prove.

**CHAMOMILE: It is also known for its soothing properties with respect to the menstrual cycle. But one of its strengths "for me" is rather linked to the spiritual. To calm the mind. To favor meditative states and even more, if accompanied by lavender (another saint that invites us to return to our center) to connect with the purpose of this life.

A multipurpose herb that "is also kind to the irritation of sensitive skin " and for this, ufff, so much to tell ☺️
but I will do that in other posts.

MARGARITA: Simple, elegant and beautiful (this flower beautifies the fields) I love, above all to contemplate landscapes that overflow its wild and untamed bud.... It is one of the most enduring flowers here in Patagonia (together with yarrow).
There is talk of its companionship in respiratory conditions, its expectorant benefits and the elimination of toxins. I personally have never used it, but there is a lot of documentation of its medicinal use over time.

Here 👇I leave a link that I thought contained a lot of information about it.

I hope this knowledge will be of support to those who often get confused
"It happens quite a lot at the beginning " if we find them together.

Nice day to all 🌼☺️🙌

These images are cute, I actually did thought they were all the same. You sure did well in explaining the difference.

Yes, they look quite similar. Thank you for reading me.
Best regards 🙌✨☺️

You are welcome.

This is such a great post, dear @veganuss.family - thank you so much for your wisdom shared here... I just picked up a chamomile plant, which I had to study a little more closely, as I was thinking similarly to you, about the differences, and whether or not it was just a wild daisy... Either way, they are the most beautiful flowers - my favourites indeed - and their collective medicial power is huge.
Again, welcome to Hive - I look forward to seeing what else you share!
