RE: How do we heal the effects of violence? Rationality and Stoicism

A lot of wisdom in here :<)

I have looked into stoicism and taoism myself ( I'm pretty sure that quote by Zuang Zhou is taoist in nature ) and especially like the latter.

Both are very helpful approaches to life but - let's be honest - it's not the kind of things we ( usually ) learn in school. There's so many people who don't prioritize learning/ studying / leveling up and so on.

It's unlikely that they read blogs like this or dive into stoicism, taoism, Buddhism or philosophy.

What remains is, for those ( of us ) who do get a chance or create the circumstances to study this, to set the example, to shine our love and light on the darkness in the world. To not teach by preaching, but by our doing.

Big hug,

Vincent

I totally agree, words are one thing, but actions are another thing all together. Though we can use words to try to represent our beliefs, the only way to achieve any real impact is through action. This is something i try to understand and act on every day, in whatever way i can. Meditating on this topic, but also using the internet to search for opportunities for action is something i love doing!

Indeed, for those of us who consciously dive into the wisdoms and teachings of esoteric disciplines, greatness is coming. If there is anything i hope i do while writing these blog posts, is to motivate other people to dive into the content, and search for authors who's words resonate with them. And again as you said, always keeping in mind the best ways to translate these lessons into tangible actions.

Much love and thanks for the great feedback :))
