Hello dear friends of @naturalmedicine!

Today I want to share with you another miracle of nature: the guava leaf. A few days ago, a grandmother told me that she had had a severe stomach ache.
Her discomfort lasted a few days until she remembered that her mother used the guava leaf to make tea to improve those conditions.
Soon, she picked some leaves, boiled them and felt better. She also told me that now, in times of pandemic, many people use it to treat flu problems.
So I got interested in it and started researching its properties and what other things it was good for, so I decided to share it with you.

Properties of the guava leaf

The guava leaf has a wide variety of properties that provide many benefits to our body. Among them we can mention its high concentration of vitamin C, which makes it ideal for strengthening the immune system.
It is rich in antioxidants, which delays cellular aging and is very good for our skin.
Also, it has properties that allow us to reduce blood sugar.
It also has anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties.

What is the guava leaf for?
These leaves are used for:
- Avoid inflammation.
- Treat pain associated with gums.
- Controlar la Diabetes.
- Combat flu processes.
- To lose weight.
- Beautify our hair
- Deodorant.
- Relieve stomach discomfort.

Preparation

At this point the lady indicated that I should take about 5 large and very tender leaves. Put water in a pot and when you notice that it starts to boil, put it in and let it boil for at least 5 minutes.
Then, take it off the heat, cover it and let it rest.
He recommended that I not put sugar in it. I never put sugar in these preparations.
To use it as a natural deodorant, the grandmothers recommended taking a couple of these leaves, crushing them very well, adding soda and putting it in the armpits to prevent bad smell.

Having said that, I want to tell you that nature provides us with everything we need and that in the simplest and closest things we have a treasure trove, which shows us that nature is a miracle.
Regards!
Great info.
Have you tried Guanábana (soursop )leafs?
I tend to like it's a lot and has similar properties to what you described on post.
Yes, I have heard about the properties of the soursop leaf... I have a very close neighbor who drinks the tea from that leaf to sleep. It also serves to relieve migraine. @wildgirl.
I love to hear about family remedies, that get passed down through generations, it is so important to keep this wisdom alive and so much better for us as well. Thanks so much for sharing this story and the wonderful healing properties of the Guava leaf xx
