RE: Hive SEO Guide - How to Write Kick-Ass SEO-Friendly Content?

in Hive SEO4 years ago

I'm going to state what I think is probably an extremely unpopular opinion. I HATE SEO. Oh, I understand that it is necessary if you are concerned with increasing the ranking of your site on Google and pulling in more ad dollars. I just hate that there is this list of key thing to do to increase rankings. I swear Google's (and other major search engines) get worse on a daily basis. Whatever I search for, after you weed through the ads of course, there seems to be page upon page of articles with titles like "Top ten (whatever you searched for)", or "The best (whatever you searched for ) in 2020" etc. And they are more often than not complete crap when it comes to actual content. Nevertheless, they clearly have it going on when it comes to SEO. Is there a search engine out there that just searches forums? That seems to be where the best content is in my opinion. Oh, social media and standalone websites have the occasional gems (good luck finding them with Google though) but post for post forums generally kick their ass when it comes to useful information.
