There are always surprises for new places, and you have to accept them.
Tropical Cafe, I never knew this place before. Indeed, the location is not in the city I live. It's across town that I occasionally visit to meet clients.
I didn't have any expectations. That is the best. Because expectations will kill the mood and spoil your happiness. Right?
Well, let me tell you about one night ago when I stumbled upon Tropical Cafe for dinner. I hope you guys enjoyed my food journey this time.
Tropical Cafe In The Rooftop of Deli Hotel
There is something interesting about this cafe. Location Tropical Cafe is located on the roof of the Deli Hotel, Medan City. Precisely located on the 7th floor of the hotel building. It is open to general visitors who are not staying at the hotel.
There is a special lift as access to Tropical Cafe for visitors who only want to go to the cafe. So after finding the Deli Hotel, we have to enter the hotel lobby first. Then, we headed to the hotel elevator.
For those who are not hotel visitors, we can choose special lift access to Tropical Cafe to the 7th floor.
I suggest not to visit Tropical Cafe on weekends because it will definitely be very crowded and full. Or you can make a reservation in advance.
Cafe Atmosphere
Being on the roof of a hotel, makes the atmosphere of the cafe have a good view at night.
I chose a seat on the edge of the wall so I could enjoy the view outside the building, with the lights of my favorite night lamp.
What a nice view! Although there is one thing that bothers me. There are irons materials around the dividing wall for the safety area, and actually, it's quite detracting from the beauty. Maybe if it was replaced with glass as a barrier, it would be even better.
But even with those shortcomings, I still enjoy the beautiful view from Tropical Cafe. What do you think? Do you like the view from Tropical Cafe?
For the design, it is quite comfortable with the tropical concept. Mostly outdoor area. But you can choose a seat in the indoor area.
MY DINNER
My choice of dinner after quite confusing me as usual, I finally chose Mango Yakult Smoothies, with Roasted Beef.
Mango Yakult Smoothies has a variety of tastes in one glass. It comes from Yakult.
Now, realize why this type of drink has become popular in the area where I live. How about your area?
These Mango Yakult Smoothies are a great choice for hot weather. It's just that I think mango smoothies are too sweet for my taste buds :)
So, how about the main course? This is my first time eating a menu like this. But I quite enjoy it.
For me, the sauce is quite tasty and feels familiar, like traditional food sauce. It's a good mix of food presentation between Western food and Indonesian food. :) And good thing, having a spicy taste. That's my fav for sure!

Tropical caffè looks really amazing, the mango yakult too, and the view , I wish I could visit a place like that in these days here in my area we have too many positive people so we don't visit new places often such a shame 🍔
