  • Hola como se encuentran hoy Día, mi querida comunidad de Hive nautas... Hoy les quiero compartir lo que me susedio el fin de semana pasado, en un trabajo, (evento o catering) que fuy contratado... les quiero mostrar los percances, disgustos y sufrimientos que nos toca aguantar alos Cocineros, cuando somos contratados para un Evento o catering. Y tenemos que dar la cara al 1000 %. para que nuestra Reputación como cocinero y profecional, no se vea afectada, En lo que hacemos en un futuro, porque hay clientes que pienzan que uno es un mago y el cuchillo es una barita magica...

Buenas les cuento algo que me paso el domingo pasado, me contrataron como Cocinero, para un Evento o Catering, para preparar un refrigerio o merienda. que comprendia de 60 und. de Hamburguesas y 120 und. de perros calientes. me pautaron para las 2:00 pm. de la tarde porque el refrigerio se tenia que servir a las 3:30 pm. yo llegue a la 1:00 pm. por que no se con lo que me iva ha encontrar en el sitio del Evento, por Esperiencia en otros Eventos, decidi irme temprano, bueno mi precentimiento fue hacertado... El dueño del Evento o Catering llego tarde, alas 2:40 pm. porque segun el estaba haciendo compras para el Evento, los ayudantes tampoco avian llegado, bueno Cuando entro al local o cocina donde iva a preparar la cocmida me encuentro con esto; No avia Agua, todo susio, en la noche como que avia un Evento y dejaron todo susio, la cocina buelta un desastre cocmo si hubiera estallado una Bomba nuclear... la plancha partida en dos pedasos,ollas, sartenes, bandejas, bueno todo susio,

Comida sobre las mesas de trabajo, destapadas, bolsas de pan abiertas, una bandeja de carne de hmburguesa abierta, las salsas, los vegetales, y lo peor del caso la plancha estaba prendida, que pudo ocacionar un acidente. porque se ubiera apagado la llama con una corriente de aire, y queda el gas botandose toda la noche anterior, y parte del Día, yo me pregunto en mi inocencia, el Gerente o Encargado del club. no pasa Revista despues que termina un Evento, porque me imagino que tiene que entregarlo, limpio y ordenado al prosimo cliente...

Bueno le comunico al patrono para que tomara carta en el asunto y viera como estaba la cocina, y se lo comunicara ala Gerencia, su repuesta fue la siguiente... ( Que yo resolbiera que para eso el me estaba pagando). le Respondo no es asi usted me esta pagando por cocinar no por limpiar el desastre de otra persona, y los ayudantes que me ivan ayudar no han llegado, no hay Agua, y el seguia diciendo que lo de la cocina era asunto mio. que estaba ocupado con lo del salon. Tome la decición de marcharme y se lo comunico se enojo con migo y empeso a insultarme, que yo no podia dejarlo con ese paquete, que como iva hacer el quien iva ha cocinar que ya no le daba tiempo para conseguir otro cocinero... que me pagaba el doble, yo le decia que no era cuestión de dinero, la Hora que era los ayudantes no avian aparecido, el problema del agua, y que el tenia que haver llegado mas temprano en la mañana a revisar las intalaciones, si sabia que avia un Evento el Día Antes.... sin envargo me quede y di la cara, por todos los cocineros del mundo... porque cansado si pero Rendirse Jamas.... O Que habrian hecho ustedes...los ayudantes llegaron a las 3.10 pm. se pusieron ha limpiar mientras yo preparaba la carne de las Hmburguesas, picaba los vegetales. puse ha calentar el baño de maria para calentar los panes,el patrono cambio la hora de servicio entre las 4:30 5:00.para darnos chance de organizar todo. Total se hiso el servicio todo salio Bien Gracias a Díos y la Virgen . pero no trabajo mas con ese contratista, no tiene responsilidad...Saludos y muchas Bendiciones mis hive nautas....hasta otra oportunidad de compatieles otros Post..

I wonder in my innocence, the manager of the club does not pass a magazine after an event ends, because I imagine that he has to deliver it, clean and tidy to the next customer.....

Well I communicated to the employer so that he could take action on the matter and see how the kitchen was, and communicate it to the Management, his answer was the following.... **I answered that it is not like that, you are paying me to cook, not to clean up someone else's mess, and the helpers that were going to help me have not arrived, there is no water, and he kept saying that the kitchen was my business, that he was busy with the salon. **I took the decision to leave and I told him so, he got angry with me and started to insult me, that I could not leave him with that package, that how was he going to do the cooking, that he did not have time to get another cook? ** I told him that it was not a question of money, the time that the helpers did not show up, the water problem, and that he should have arrived earlier in the morning to check the facilities, if he knew that there was an event the day before.... however I stayed and stood up for all the cooks in the world... because I was tired but I never gave up... .... O What would you have done...the helpers arrived at 3.10 pm. they started to clean up while I prepared the meat for the burgers, chopped the vegetables. I put the bain marie to heat the bread, the boss changed the time of service between 4:30 and 5:00 to give us a chance to organize everything.
