Everyone experiences the "crazy" syndrome of doing something for the first time. That happen to me, at the end of the hive fest. It is my first time experience something that might be too ordinary for many, but it was a first for me.
This is my first fine dining experience. Not a metaphor, because it was indeed my first time at fine dining. Is this considered fine dining? I think YES. Bijan Restaurant is the place and it's far frome my home, and it's quite far away cause i need flight and crossing immigration. It was my first time experience real fine dining. Did you feel the same? @viviehardika LOL.
On the table, plates and glasses were neatly arrange, clean, and perfect. While it wasn't a high class place like a hotel rooftop, its till a pleasant experience. The dim lights, the flicker candles, and the beauty yellow daisies on the table, of course, were accompanied by very humble people, hiver.
As everyone enter the room and took their seat, that the start of the dinner. Tonight's menu was already prepare. There were so many variety menus, but I didn't expect the appetizer to surprise me. Oh my God, is that really our appetizer for tonight?
Indonesians call it "Bakwan" or "bala-bala," but it's filled with deep fry vegetables mix flour. It certainly reflects Southeast Asian identity, as does the swerker chicken, which is full of spices. One of the dishes is a spring roll fill with vegetables. Almost all of it is fill with oil, right?

After finishing a very elegant meal with a fork and knife, especially eating bakwan, it felt strange but very enjoyable because I never thought I'd do that. Then came the main course: Opor Ribs (Ribs Opor), with incredibly tender meat, and I actually took this dish home. I really regretted having leftovers, rather than throwing them away. LOL!
Siakap fish with a slightly spicy curry, there was also fried chicken with curry leaves, shrimp in a yellow curry that I can't eat due to an allergy, and two types of rice (white rice and rice with spices). I even ate both types of rice, since it seemed we couldn't choose.

We finished with a dessert featuring Southeast Asian ingredients: gula melaka cake, which, it turns out, goes well with coconut ice cream. It's cold, sweet, with a hint of caramel, and melts in your mouth when you bite into both together. After a greasy meal, a little dessert really lifts your mood.
See you the next time hive friends!

Don't think too much of me as you see in my posts. I'm just sharing what I have, and some of it is actually quite enjoyable to post. It's just that I don't really like posting bad things. I'm just a woman who wants to write whatever's on my mind. I really enjoy cooking, occasionally traveling, and doing whatever I like. I want to live like a bird flying freely in nature. But I know I'm only human. So, I can only write freely like a bird that can fly with its two wings.
