Minangnese Food: Chicken Gulai Kampong For Iftar

So many kinds of salted food in Indonesia. The most famous rows of salty foods in Indonesia are opor, gulai, and curry. In addition to coconut milk, the three meals also have a similar processed alloy.

Makanan bersantan begitu banyak jenisnya di Indonesia. Deretan makanan bersantan paling dikenal masyarakat Indonesia adalah opor, gulai, dan kari. Selain berbahan santan, ketiga makan tersebut juga memiliki paduan olahan hampir mirip.

Gulai cuisine is better known as thick red coconut milk soup. Gulai is one of the basic dishes of Minangkabau cuisine, so it is natural that this dish is identical to sumatra. Even so, in Java and the Malay Peninsula also this cuisine can be found.

Masakan gulai lebih dikenal dengan kuah santan pekat berwarna merah. Gulai merupakan salah satu hidangan dasar dari masakan-masakan Minangkabau, sehingga wajar jika masakan ini identik dengan daerah Sumatera. Meski begitu, di Jawa dan Semenanjung Malaya juga masakan ini bisa ditemukan.

Ada berbagai macam gulai yang ada di Indonesia, seperti Gulai Ayam, Gulai Nangka Muda (cubadak) dan Gulai Tunjang dari Sumatera Barat, Gulai Belacan dari Riau, Gulai Kepala Ikan, dan Gulai Pakis. Aneka makanan ini dibedakan dari jenis bahan yang di gunakan.

This time I want to tell about Gulai Ayam Kampung which became my iftar menu yesterday.

Kali ini saya mau cerita tentang Gulai Ayam Kampung yang menjadi menu berbuka puasa saya kemarin.

Chicken gulai menu is certainly often found on various occasions, ranging from kondangan to arisan. How to make that relatively easy is the reason. The ingredients aren't so much and you can look for them.

Menu gulai ayam pastinya sering dijumpai di berbagai kesempatan, mulai dari kondangan hingga arisan. Cara membuat yang tergolong mudah jadi alasannya. Bahan-bahannya pun tidak begitu banyak dan kamu bisa mencarinya.

Chicken gulai is one of the menus that can be served at any time. The soupy menu that is usually served in padang restaurant has a savory and delicious taste. It is best to eat chicken goulash with cassava leaves and green sambal. The taste is very appetizing.

Gulai ayam menjadi salah satu menu yang bisa disajikan kapan saja. Menu berkuah yang biasa tersaji di rumah makan Padang ini memiliki rasa gurih dan lezat. Paling enak menyantap gulai ayam dengan daun singkong dan sambal hijau. Rasanya sangat menggugah selera.

Chicken gulai is processed in spice soup with savory taste. The characteristic of gulai is in its thick seasoning, rich in spices. Goulash spice consists of turmeric, coriander, pepper, galangal, ginger, red chili, shallots, garlic, fentan, nutmeg, lemongrass, cinnamon and cumin mashed, mixed, then cooked in coconut milk. The yellow color of gulai is caused by the use of turmeric.

Gulai ayam diolah dalam kuah bumbu rempah dengan cita rasa gurih. Ciri khas gulai ada pada bumbunya yang kental, kaya akan rempah. Rempah bumbu gulai terdiri dari kunyit, ketumbar, lada, lengkuas, jahe, cabe merah, bawang merah, bawang putih, adas, pala, serai, kayu manis dan jintan yang dihaluskan, dicampur, lalu dimasak dalam santan. Warna kuning gulai disebabkan oleh penggunaan kunyit.

Kampung chicken has a difference with cut chicken. Judging from the way of life, kampung chickens clearly have better nutrition. This is because native chickens are not injected with hormones like broiler chickens. Even so, both kampung chicken and broiler chicken are both good sources of protein. It's just that the fat content of broiler chickens is more than the village chickens that live freely.

Ayam kampung punya perbedaan dengan ayam potong. Dilihat dari cara hidupnya, ayam kampung jelas mempunyai nutrisi yang lebih baik. Hal ini karena ayam kampung tidak disuntik hormon layaknya ayam broiler. Meskipun begitu, baik ayam kampung dan ayam broiler sama-sama menjadi sumber protein yang baik. Hanya saja kandungan lemak ayam broiler lebih banyak dibanding dengan ayam kampung yang hidup dengan bebas.

Sedangkan ayam kampung mempunyai daging yang bertekstur liat dan cenderung alot. Hal ini sangat cocok untuk masakan gulai yang dimasak lebih lama dengan santan hingga bumbu dan rempah meresap.
