Spicy pleasure will take you to the highest throne of taste.

Who likes spicy? Almost all food in Indonesia has a spicy taste. Everyone needs chili, any form of chili. There are even several types of chilies that range from medium to very spicy. That's why spicy food is on many menu and is one of everyone's favorite.

In fact, it's not uncommon for people to not have an appetite for spicy food. There are 8 out of 10 people who like spicy, so many restaurants or street foods sell various foods with a spicy taste. Don't believe it? Just try going to Indonesia.

Spicy is definitely synonymous with chili, because it is only from chilies that the spicy taste comes. But, what if the chilies were made into a very spicy chili sauce and combined with a simple, easy ultra-processed food.

Wait, ultra process? Yes, maybe that sounds very 'horrifying', but did you know that ultra-processing can also be made into healthier food if made by hand. It looks very complicated, a long process and again it sounds very tiring. For me, I minimize ultra-processed foods, but it's not uncommon for me to occasionally enjoy them.

The Recipe

One of my favorite ultra processed foods is nuggets. Yes, a form of chicken dish that is formed in such a way, with a mixture of flour and chicken breast sprinkled with bread crumbs on the outer layer. However, who would have thought that if you were given another type of sprinkle, the taste would also be different and more interesting?

Wait, what is that?! I was thinking about bubble crumble which is usually mixed with chocolate so it would taste really good. But, what if it was made differently and as a coating for a nugget?

Inspired by a famous nugget brand, it turns out that bubble crumble is very easy to get. For that reason, this recipe is very special for all of you, my friends!

Ingredients:

  • 1 kg chicken meat, without skin and bones.
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 3 tablespoons tapioca flour
  • 5-7 cloves of garlic
  • Bubble crumble
  • Salt, pepper and oil to taste
  • Red chilies, garlic and shallots to make a very spicy chili sauce.

How to make Spicy Bubble Crumble Nugget:

  • I bought chicken meat without skin and bones in the breast and thighs. The part of the chicken that I think is most suitable when mixed and used as the main ingredient in making nuggets.

  • I peeled the garlic and mixed it with the washed chicken meat. Then put it in a container large enough to hold the nugget mixture.

  • Pour in 3 tablespoons of tapioca flour which will become a mixture so that the meat is easy to shape and stick together in the dough. Then I grind all these ingredients finely with salt and pepper.

  • After grinding it finely and getting the desired texture, the next step is to use a bowl-shaped container that has been smeared with oil so that it doesn't stick and is easy to remove from the shell. Then the mixture is put into the container.

  • Steam the nugget mixture over medium heat, for approximately 30 minutes, until the middle of the nugget mixture hardens and can be shaped.

I have problems with spicy food since I don't like it very much, however your recipe has motivated me to replicate it, it looks like a very good recipe.

why don't you like spicy ones? I think it is a very challenging food but not everyone is used to accepting it. of course, that's not very good for gerd

Yes I like it, I love it but I have gastric problems that prevent me from consuming very strong spices, despite the risk I sometimes add to my food.
