From Farm to Table | Dining at a Countryside Cafe

in Foodies Bee Hive2 years ago

Took a drive out to the countryside with the family a few days ago. Our destination was a restaurant/cafe called #NOCA. It is located in an area surrounded by rice fields and there was a vegetable farm just across the road.Additionally, there is a huge farmers market next to the restaurant.

Interested in what we had to eat?

Well continue scrolling down to see a few pictures of what we had.

I think the restaurant's name is a play on words NO from nogyo のうぎよぅ meaning agriculture or farming and CA from Cafe. So it appears the name is intended to communicate the farm to table concept.

We had no plans to habe desert but my younger son got a glimpse of what some young ladies were having at a nearby table and wanted to try it too.

It was great going out to the countryside for lunch. We had a good time. We also decided to stop by the farmers market to see what they had on sale inside. They had a really affordable selection of vegetables and a few plants were on display just outside. We took home this lovely potted plang with a few strawberries already growing on it. Now it's part of our small balcony garden.

What have you been up to this weekend? Do you have any specific plans. Maybe you could write a post about it.

Wow, a delicious meal, so beautifully presented, I love the dessert - you would have to have one if you saw it 😍.

That's a nice concept and the food is looking delicious 😍!
And salmon... Haven't had salmon in a while, due to high costs here.

Lol. You may have noticed how small the pieces of salmon on the dish were. But you're right it was delicious 😂

Hahahaa that portion is looking ok to me.

I can't speak for dishes with salmon in them in restaurants here, but we've also encountered meals in restaurants with shrimp, that we sometimes only find one or two in those plates. We're like "really???"

Wow, all the recipe is so unique and really flavorful with a very good decoration. I actually love the first menu very much.

Me too. It was delicious. I'm sure anyone would enjoy it.
