Hay recetas que son ideales para determinados tipos de fiestas. Otras en cambio se pueden adaptar a cualquier situación en particular.

Es el caso de las Tortitas de Arroz y Manzana.

Es un postre que en algunos países europeos se prepara para Carnaval.

Imposible imaginar un Carnaval sin sus máscaras, sus bromas, los colores brillantes y obviamente sus sabores.

También es imposible, por ejemplo, imaginar un Carnaval sin los panqueques. De todo tipo, de cada región.

De igual manera es imposible imaginar un carnaval en Venecia (Italia), tan colorido, tan lleno de máscaras de sin este postre preparado de mil maneras diferentes.

There are recipes that are ideal for certain types of parties. Others, however, can be adapted to any particular situation.

It is a dessert that in some European countries is prepared for Carnival.
Impossible to imagine a Carnival without its masks, its jokes, the bright colors and obviously its flavors.

It is also impossible, for example, to imagine a Carnival without pancakes. Of all kinds, from each region.

Similarly, it is impossible to imagine a carnival in Venice (Italy), so colorful, so full of masks without this dessert prepared in a thousand different ways.

para 4 personas:

  • 250 g de arroz
  • 1 litro de leche
  • 2 huevos
  • 70 g de azúcar
  • 2 manzanas
  • 1 vaso pequeño de ron u otro licor de su elección
  • ralladura y jugo de 1
  • aceite de fritura de limón
  • sal
  • azúcar glas

for 4 persons:

  • 250 g of rice
  • 1 l milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 70 g of sugar
  • 2 apples
  • 1 small glass of rum or other liquor of your choice
  • zest and juice of 1
  • lemon frying oil
  • salt
  • powdered sugar

40 minutos + 30 para hervir

  • La noche anterior a la preparación, hierva la leche con una pizca de sal y 20 g de azúcar, luego agregue el arroz y la ralladura de limón; cocine a fuego lento durante unos 30 minutos.

  • Retirar del fuego, dejar enfriar y poner en el refrigerador hasta que esté listo para usar.

  • Agregue los huevos previamente batidos con el azúcar restante al arroz, agregue el ron y mezcle bien.

  • Pelar las manzanas, cortarlas en cubos y rociarlas con el jugo de limón.

  • Escurrir y agregar al arroz, revolviendo suavemente.

40 minutes + 30 to boil.

  • The night before the preparation, boil the milk with a pinch of salt and 20 g of sugar, then add the rice and the lemon zest; simmer for about 30 minutes.

  • Remove from the heat, let cool and put in the refrigerator until ready to use.

  • Add the previously beaten eggs with the remaining sugar to the rice, add the rum and mix well.

  • Peel the apples, cut them into cubes and drizzle them with the lemon juice. Drain and add to the rice, stirring gently.

  • Forma unas croquetas que freírás en abundante aceite hirviendo.

  • Tan pronto como estén listos, tómelos con una cuchara ranurada y póngalos en papel absorbente para perder la grasa; finalmente espolvorear con azúcar glas.

  • Estos panqueques con sabor delicado son buenos tanto calientes como fríos.

  • Form croquettes that you will fry in abundant boiling oil.

  • As soon as they are ready, take them with a slotted spoon and put them on absorbent paper to lose the fat; finally sprinkle with icing sugar.

  • These delicate-flavored pancakes are good both hot and cold.
