CHAYOTE WITH PORK AND CARROTS FOR LUNCH (QUICK AND EASY RECIPE)

Good afternoon, how are you this fine tuesday? I hope everything is going well. Today I'm gonna show you what I cooked for our dinner today. The main dish that I will be using is called chayote. The edible plant chayote (Sechium edule), also known as mirliton, güisquil, pipinola, and choko, belongs to the Cucurbitaceae family of gourds. During the Columbian Exchange, various foods were introduced to the Old World, including chayote. The plant also expanded from Mesoamerica to other parts of the Americas during this time.

So okay guys, let us start cooking. First things first is to prepare your ingredients like chayote, carrots, garlic, onion, spring onion and some pork and then your salt and pepper.

Then next is to sliced all your ingredients depending on what kind of slice will you make.

Then next is to sauted the onion, garlic and spring garlic using some butter. Then add you chayote and carrots and cover it to make it tender faster. You must also add a little water into it.

Then aftet that is you must add soy sauce into it to add flavor. Add your salt and pepper to taste and then mix it well. The chayote is already tender, that means that it is already cooked and that it is guys. You can now serve it with your friends.
