COOKING LINABOG (STEWED SQUASH WITH COCONUT EXTRACT AND FRIED FISH)

Good afternoon guys, We just had our lunch and what we had is called "linabog" in our own dialect. In english in translate as squash stewed in fresh coconut extract with some fried fish to add extra flavor into it and this are the ingredients that you need to cook a perfect linabog.

I do not have the exact picture for its step by step procedure so I will just state it here in my blog.

First thing to do is to saute your sliced onion and garlic, ginger and spring onion with a little cooking oil. Then next is to put your sliced squash and add a little bit of water into it and cover it until the squash become tender and is already squashed into pieces. Next is to put your coconut extract and wait for it to boil. Once it is already boiling you now add your salt and pepper to add flavor into it. You can also add some fried fish to add flavor into it. Lastly, I also added some malungay leaves into it.

This dish is common here in the Philippines because it is not expensive to make. This dish is also healthy and delicious at the same time.
