NIGERIA JELLOF RICE RECIPES AND METHOD OF PREPARATION

Good day friends am glad to be here I am from Nigeria and I will be sharing most of the African dishes here with you all. Today I prepared jellof rice there are various method used in preparing this dish but for this particular post I will be using the palm(red) oil method

RECIPE

-Rice(4cups)

  • Palm oil
  • fresh tomatoes
  • fresh pepper
  • meat
  • ingredients (salt maggi pepper)
    -water

Procedure.
-Parboil the meat for 5 minutes

-Parboil the Rice in a separate pot for 10 minute

-Wash the Rice then put an empty pot on the fire

-Add oil to the empty pot

-Add your sliced Onions to the hot oil

-add your sliced tomatoes then stir for some time before adding water

-Allow it to boil for some time before adding your ingredients (salt,maggi, pepper,meat)

-Then you add your rice and a little water.

-Keep on adding water till the rice gets soft, then Allow the water to get dried before bringing it down.

Now our delicious Nigeria jellof rice is Ready.

Nice seeing your second post after your introduction. I love African Jollof rice, especially the way you prepared it, making it delicious to the eye but I hope you will be able to finish the one you're having.
