Over the course of 4 visits, The delectable desserts were made with utmost eye for detail and were exceptionally scrumptious 😋 The trays were always filled with colourful glazed desserts that made it even more tempting.

Tart Pecan

Out of all these items we’ve had, we absolutely loved the Tart Pecan. The honey butter sauce elevated the unique flavour of the pecan and macadamia nuts. The short crust balanced whole baked pastry.

Even the napkins have such a beautiful message of the founders journey into becoming a Chef!🧑🏻‍🍳

Chocolate Donuts

The mouthwatering donuts were filled with either chocolate, vanilla custard or jam. The top of the donut was coated with sugary crystals. The fresh donuts are warm and fluffy with soothing gooey centres which made it an exceptional experience.🥯

ÉCLAIR AU CHOCOLAT

The Pate a choux sauce is filled with silky coffee cream and topped with a super thin coffee glaze. Each eclair contains a fresh espresso shot within it. Making it so strong in its taste. The eclair is garnished with a coffee bean and white chocolate square and logo of the bakery.

RUBIS

Gorgeous red glaze has the magic touch that Laurent Bakery gives the Rubis! It is created with the bittersweet raspberry & white chocolate glaze along with a almond lime base, it's not just a treat for the eyes.

Me and my parents walked in and saw the glistening desserts that were just plain sinful to eat. The pastries looked gosh darn perfect, and the place was filled with Aussies at every table. We reached just 30 minutes before it was time to close. So, we rushed and grabbed the Rubis on the first day and a few donuts for everyone at home.

Every single time I entered the bakery, I got to see birds flying around the staircase, like a pretty scene in the Disney movies. Looked so dreamy, felt like I was a part of the Cinderella movie.

The interior is so chic and oh so Melbourne! This little chain has a tad bit of chaos in their service as it’s always filled with people. Although this spot has a wonderful charm to it.

We also got to munch some Meringue which was oval, crisp and crunchy. So chewy and delicate. Each bite showed the passion the chefs had to make these exquisite treats. The quality was top notch and it reflected in the dish. Tempting aromas fills the room, so when you enter the patisserie all you can think of, is ordering a plateful of deserts and filling your happy belly. By the end you will have a grin of satisfaction on your face.

This artisan bakery at Little Collins Street is traditional and authentically French. The high quality bakes has a modern twist for Aussie tastebuds. The richness in each pastry is a treat for the mouth. Would definitely recommend going a grabbing a bite at Laurent’s Little Collins St store.

I think a French Bakery is hard to beat, and this one, although in Australia is no exception. Also, I'm not a chocolate lover, but these treats look divine:))

The best thing about this bakery was the chocolate was delicious but the custards were bang on!😋 Hope you enjoyed reading my blog. 🥨
