Hello foodies all over the world!
I have a question for you, just one.
Have you ever been stranded or completely confused about what you wanted for your birthday?
Well, that was exactly my experience this year. My birthday was on January 1st, and for once, I didn’t want the usual cake-and-ice-cream combo. I knew deep within me that I wanted something different, something fun, fresh, and memorable. I wanted to try new things.
So guess what I did?
I challenged myself to prepare a variety of snacks for my guests all from scratch!
I made a very juicy and fruity zobo drink, crunchy chicken pies, popcorn, and oven-fresh bread.
And the most exciting part?
It was my first time making every single one of them!
To my surprise (and joy), everything came out so nice, so yummy, and absolutely satisfying. My guests truly enjoyed themselves, and the smiles, compliments, and empty plates said it all.
That day reminded me that sometimes, stepping out of the “normal” is where the real joy lives.
And yes, why not? Good food should be shared, right?… I’ll be sharing my secret recipes with you so stay tuned!

Hi @defavoured001
Please read our community rules, especially number 4, which says:
Every user new to Hive, or new to Foodies Bee Hive, must include a minimum of three photos showing their face (of the total number of photos in each post), making their recipes.
This also applies to food reviews. So in your next posts, we hope you respect this rule.
We also recommend that you read this post carefully, it explains each of our community rules:

Thank you so much for this. It will definitely not happen again.
