Hello, friends especially foodies!
Recently on Sunday, my aunt and her husband took me out to have lunch with almost all of the family member of her husband. We ate in a restaurant called Fire Pot.
Once I didn’t know why it called fire pot, but then later on their condiment place, I could see many kind of chili sauce, no wonder why they named it Fire Pot.
In this place each table would have some hot pots with our own electric stove. Like on other places which sold shabu-shabu, they also asked us to choose the broth for their soup. While I chose chicken broth, my aunt chose tom yum.
While waiting, we ate the snack they delivered us, guess what?
Yes, they were fish skin. So crunchy, soft and savory with non greasy texture, I was in love with it.
There were some ingredients we could cook in our pots, it would be beancurd, the white with colors I didn’t know the name, lettuces, shrimp dumpling which uniquely served in a black long spoon, and others like lotus. If you want, the waitress would help to crack the egg for you.
Anyway like in other places, we also had beef slices. Which was so great, soft and tasty. My chicken broth brought savory flavour in it.
Plus they also gave us some fried dimsum such as gohiong, shewmay and shrimp springroll too. The gohiong tasted sweet, shewmay savory while shrimp springroll had sweet and savory flavour.
In our table we also ordered vegetable fried rice which tasted so good.
Have you ever been to a place like Fire Pot?
