Eating Healthy, Brown Rice for the Dinner!

Hello, friends especially foodies!
Eating is easy but eating healthy, is not easy. I mean besides considering about the taste and flavour, we also need to consider about what lies beneath the food we have, we need to know the nutrition that we would eat, how many calories and other things to consider. One way to minimize the calories you take is by changing the rice you usually have with the brown rice, like what we did. Brown rice had lower calories but higher fiber than the common rice.

Last Friday, for the dinner, i tried to ask mom to order healthy food.

Here was some of the menu,

you could see that they measure the calories and also the food itself cooked with the ingredients that are good to our body, they mentioned what they used.

We then chose some menus we had wanted in my cart then paid.

It was only costed me 65,800 IDR or around 4.53 USD for the healthy food we ordered cause fortunately i had the promotion offer.

After around 20 minutes of waiting, our healthy dinner was arrived.

What i ordered was Chicken Teriyaki package for mom, Fried Brown Rice for me and also a chicken soup.

The taste and flavour

Mom's chicken teriyaki was soft and had really authentic flavour, it had savory and sweet flavour. The good thing was they use all healthy ingredient. It also served with brown rice, half of boiled egg, and for thw fruit, they put kiwi plus watermelon in mini cubes.

Fried Brown Rice

My Fried Brown Rice had chicken and omega 3 egg topping. It had sweet and a bit savory flavour. Non greasy and healthy, of course. Wanna try it too?

Chicken Soup

Contained chicken and of course vegetable, it tasted light savory with too much pepper in it so it was also spicy. Mom said it could make her stomach acid :', but i finished it. It was so so.

I think our healthy food for dinner wasn't perfect, but i didn't think that all healthy mustn't delicious so next time i would try another restaurant which also provides healthy food for the menu. So stay tune for another food articles from me :)..
