I love the rustic bread!! We have a cast-iron pan we use only for the rustic bread! It is one of our favorites and doesn't it smell heavenly on a cool winter day!

It looks delicious and the crusty exterior is my favorite part, especially with some nice homemade honey butter. Oh, yum! I want to thank you so much for posting this, it will certainly wake up a lot of bakers on the platform! I just saw Melinda's remark about cinnamon rolls and now I know what I am having with my coffee tomorrow!

Thank you for allowing me to share my passion for baking with you.
Every Sunday, I bake two batches... the first batch for this bread, and a second batch for half of slice bread and half into rolls. So my house is smelling so yummy!
