Espero que todos se encuentren muy bien, el día de hoy vengo a mostrarles la preparación de mi delicioso almuerzo de hoy.

Los ingredientes que utilicé fueron:

  • 500 gr de carne de cerdo
  • 500 gr de harina de maíz
  • 1 plátano grande y maduro
  • 1/4 taza de aceite vegetal
  • 1 lechuga americana pequeña
  • 2 zanahorias medianas
  • 2 tomates medianos
  • 1 cebolla grande
  • 1 limón
  • 1 taza de agua
  • 1 cucharada de vinagre
  • Sal

I hope you are all feeling well, today I come to show you the preparation of my delicious lunch today.

The ingredients I used were:

  • 500 gr pork meat
  • 500 gr of corn flour
  • 1 large ripe plantain
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 small American lettuce
  • 2 medium carrots
  • 2 medium tomatoes
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • Salt

Lo primero que hice fue agregarle sal a la carne de cerdo, y colocarla en un sarten con la taza de agua a hervir. Por lo general, la carne de cerdo se cocina en su propia grasa cuando seca el agua.

The first thing I did was to add salt to the pork, and place it in a pan with the cup of water to boil. Pork is usually cooked in its own fat when the water dries.

Después, lavé muy bien los vegetales, y procedí a rallar la zanahoria y picar la lechuga, los tomates y la cebolla.

Luego, agregamos una cucharada de vinagre, limón, sal al gusto y un chorrito de aceite.

Next, I washed the vegetables very well, and proceeded to grate the carrot and chop the lettuce, tomatoes and onion.

Then, we added a spoonful of vinegar, lemon, salt to taste and a drizzle of oil.

Finalmente, hice unas arepas tradicionales como nos gustan acá en Venezuela, asadas, para acompañar este delicioso platillo. Junto con unas tajadas de plátano que freí con la 1/4 taza de aceite.

Finally, I made some traditional arepas as we like them here in Venezuela, grilled, to accompany this delicious dish. Along with some plantain slices that I fried with the 1/4 cup of oil.
