Decir "fin de semana" en casa es decir "momento de hacer un rico postre". Desde hace varios días no contamos con algún postre para compartir en familia, he estado super full entre el trabajo y mis quehaceres diarios y no he tenido tiempo para preparar algo rico para todos.
La semana pasada compré crema de leche para hacer helado en casa y pensé en hacerlo ayer junto a mi hijo para compartir ese momento especial juntos y además hacer algo delicioso para disfrutar.
Era primera vez que hacíamos algo así, por lo que no estábamos seguros de como debería quedar, pero le pusimos corazón y todo el empeño para hacer este delicioso helado.
El helado quedó tan y como esperábamos, súper cremoso y delicioso. Hoy les compartiré como mi hijo y yo logramos este resultado para que ustedes también puedan recrearlo en sus casitas.

To say "weekend" at home is to say "time to make a delicious dessert". For several days now we have not had a dessert to share with the family, I have been super full between work and my daily chores and I have not had time to prepare something delicious for everyone.
Last week I bought milk cream to make ice cream at home and I thought of making it yesterday with my son to share that special moment together and also to make something delicious to enjoy.
It was the first time we made something like this, so we were not sure how it should turn out, but we put our hearts and all the effort to make this delicious ice cream.
The ice cream turned out just as we expected, super creamy and delicious. Today I will share with you how my son and I achieved this result so that you can also recreate it at home.
INGREDIENTES || INGREDIENTS
- Una lata de crema de leche
- Leche condensada
- Crema de chocolate
- Conos de helado
- One can of milk cream
- Condensed milk
- Chocolate cream
- Ice cream cones
Lo primero que hicimos fue colocar la crema de leche en la nevera desde la noche anterior para que a la hora de batirla está pueda hacerse más cremosa.
Colocamos en un bowl y batimos con la batidora eléctrica durante varios minutos, aunque nuestra crema de leche no creció tanto como esperábamos.
The first thing we did was to put the milk cream in the refrigerator the night before so that when it was time to whip it, it could become creamier.
We put it in a bowl and beat it with the electric mixer for several minutes, although our milk cream did not rise as much as we expected.
Luego agregamos la leche condensada, las cantidades son "al ojo", en este caso no medimos nada, solo fuimos agregando y evaluando su sabor y textura.
Then add the condensed milk, the amounts are "by eye", in this case we did not measure anything, we just added and evaluated its flavor and texture.
Luego de batir unos minutos para integrarlo todo muy bien, ya teníamos la base del helado. Mi hijo fue quien lo batió la mayor parte del tiempo, mientras yo le indicaba como debía hacerlo y con una paleta de goma iba integrando la crema que había quedado en el borde del bowl.
After beating for a few minutes to integrate everything very well, we had the ice cream base. My son was the one who churned it most of the time, while I told him how to do it and with a rubber paddle he was integrating the cream that was left on the edge of the bowl.
Ahora para agregar un toque especial y chocolatoso, le colocamos crema de chocolate. Está la mezclamos previamente con leche condensada para hacerla más ligera y que fuera fácil de distribuir en el helado.
Now to add a special chocolaty touch, we added chocolate cream. We previously mixed it with condensed milk to make it lighter and easier to distribute in the ice cream.
Mi hijo se encargó de distribuir la crema de chocolate en el envase donde colocamos el helado. La idea es que cada rincón de este tuviera un poco de chocolate.
Hasta este punto estábamos listos, pero recordé que nos quedaban algunos conos de helado de nuestra vieja venta de helados.
My son was in charge of distributing the chocolate cream in the container where we placed the ice cream. The idea was that every corner of it would have a little bit of chocolate in it.
Up to this point we were ready, but I remembered that we had some ice cream cones left from our old ice cream sale.
Así que tomé 3 conos, los metí en una bolsa y con un mazo los trituramos.
So I took 3 cones, put them in a bag and with a mallet we crushed them.
Luego los agregamos al helado y mezclamos con una cuchara. Ahora sí estamos listos para llevar el helado al freezer por toda la noche.
Then add them to the ice cream and mix with a spoon. Now we are ready to put the ice cream in the freezer overnight.
Hoy en la tarde cuando fui a revisar el helado me di cuenta que tenía un hueco, faltaba una parte del helado 🙄. Resulta que mi esposo hizo una visita nocturna a la cocina y al encontrarse con nuestro helado se comió un poco.
Aquí tenemos el culpable que no quiso mostrar su rostro, pero como estaba pidiendo más helado cuando mi hijo y yo nos fuimos a servir un poco.
Today in the afternoon when I went to check the ice cream I realized that I had a hole, there was a part of the ice cream missing 🙄. Turns out my husband made a late night visit to the kitchen and when he came across our ice cream he ate some of it.
Here we have the culprit who didn't want to show his face, but since he was asking for more ice cream when my son and I went to pour some.
Nuestro helado fue un éxito, quedó súper cremoso y los trozos de galleta le vinieron súper bien.
Nos salió poca cantidad, pero esperamos pronto estar haciendo más y como dice mi hijo, agregándole otras cosas para hacerlo de otro sabor.

Our ice cream was a success, it was super creamy and the cookie pieces were great.
We had a small amount, but we hope to be making more soon and as my son says, adding other things to make it a different flavor.

Esa receta casera de helado es superdeliciosa, algo que le controlaría es el dulce que le aporta la leche condensada, suele ser un poco demasiado.

Si, es algo que se debe comer con moderación y si se puede agregar más crema de leche mejor. Pero para algo de vez en cuando no cae mal y si se acompaña con otra cosita mejor ☺️
