Have a bite with Fëanor - Issue #4

Hello fellow foodies! Welcome all to my series "Have a bite with Fëanor" issue 4 and enjoy some food porn!

Some days it really is a pain to cook, most people might think it is being lazy, but lately it is all about the heat, with 40ºC degrees you don't really take much pleasure from being in the kitchen. This leads to try and find different ways to eat and prepare our meals. Today on top of that i was felling a bit of a sugar craving, so i bought salty pastries to curb my enthusiasm :D

Eggs and cheese

Eggs with mushrooms and some cheese and bread can go a long way to suppress most your food needs for at least half a day.

This is a soft cheese, like you can see a bit of time in the heat and it is already bending out of shape. Very good i like them more cured but this one is very tasty. No brand or logo because it is homemade.

Pastries

Thing about pastries is they can be made with almost anything, this ones have calf meat inside, very tasty always a favorite here in the house, i know it is not the most healthy thing, still once in a while i suppose it is ok!

That time of the season

Like you might have read in the last couple articles i receive a lot of tomatoes from rural areas around the city, so with so many had to make some soup, eat my salads every meal so they wont spoil.

Wheat bread and lemon verbena tea

You might wonder what are those leaves on the cup next to the cheeses, well that is lemon verbena tea, sometimes with lighter meals i avoid red wine way to hot and make me sluggish after. The eggs with mushrooms really go well with the wheat bread. That tasty coupled with the tomato salad to freshen up really entices the senses for the rest of the flavors.

Overall a nice and refreshing meal!

And for the few that might now be thinking "hmm what about that empty plate?"

Well that was the one that had the pastries to start with he did not survive long, he was on the front lines and puff, was eaten before a full pic was taken :D

That soft cheese looks delicious

some friends refuse to eat it cause it is made by some old lady instead of having a seal from the factory... what can i do :D

usually it should be the other way around, I would trust a cook more than industrial food
