That cake you posted looked beautiful. Almost too pretty to eat. It's great to have the skill to build & decorate any kind a cake that a customer request so their happy. It sharpens a wide range of skills for you to decorate many different things & puts the smiles on peoples faces when they see your masterpiece.
Then comes the time to devour the cake. That's also the fun part as well.
I look forward to seeing your recipes. Hopefully I could follow easily & try to make them as well as you.

Yes, that is an amazing feeling for sure. I was a butcher for a while, I cut meats at a grocery store for a few years. During the holidays customers would order standing rib roast & platters of shrimp. I'd always do my best to make it as appetizing as I could, because presentation is what really makes customers happy. That & of course the taste.
