Hello, friends of Foodies Bee Hive! Who doesn't like to eat a good slice of cake? The truth is that I love it, and since a few days ago here at home we were craving it, especially my dad who is a sweet fanatic. So I made a deal with him: between the two of us we would provide the ingredients, and that's how this recipe for a delicious classic vanilla cake came out. Without further ado, let's get into the kitchen!
- 4 tazas de harina de trigo leudante.
- 2 tazas de azúcar.
- 200 gr de mantequilla.
- 4 huevos.
- 2 tazas de leche.
- Vainilla.
- Rayadura de limón.
- 4 cups leavening wheat flour.
- 2 cups of sugar.
- 200 gr butter.
- 4 eggs.
- 2 cups milk.
- Vanilla.
- Lemon zest.

Comenzamos añadiendo el azúcar y la mantequilla en el bol y batimos hasta integrar ambos ingredientes, que no tenga grumos y que la mezcla tenga una apariencia cremosa. | We start by adding the sugar and butter in the bowl and beat until both ingredients are integrated, the mixture has no lumps and has a creamy appearance. |

Ahora agregaremos a la mezcla los huevos uno por uno. | Now add the eggs to the mixture one by one. |

Añadiremos la harina de trigo previamente cernida y la leche de forma alternada, utilizando una paleta integraremos muy bien con movimientos envolventes. Yo no utilicé toda la leche porque los huevos eran grandes y la mezcla estaba un poco líquida. | Add the previously sifted wheat flour and the milk alternately, using a paddle, integrate very well with enveloping movements. I did not use all the milk because the eggs were large and the mixture was a little runny. |

Una vez tengamos lista nuestra mezcla solo nos queda echarla en un molde previamente engrasado y enharinado, el nuestro es de 22 x 8 cm. Llevamos al horno a 180º por 90 minutos. Sabremos que está lista cuando introduzcamos un palillo y este salga completamente seco. | Once we have our mixture ready, we just have to pour it into a previously greased and floured mold, ours is 22 x 8 cm. Bake in the oven at 180º for 90 minutes. We will know it is ready when we introduce a toothpick and it comes out completely dry. |

Not to brag, but the cake was as delicious as it looks. It really tasted great and was super fluffy, we all loved it, but according to my dad he couldn't eat the portion he wanted hahaha. I encourage you to sweeten your day a little by preparing this recipe, I hope you liked it, see you next time!
