If you are working in a fast-paced environment and there's not enough time to cook a meal, then maybe my recipe below can help you with it. Being a househusband, sometimes I don't have much time to do all the chores at the same time.
This chicken recipe is easy to prepare and cook. It will be loved to eat by your family, especially the kids and friends alike when serving. You can also serve these as snacks or party appetizers.
Here are the needed ingredients:
- 500 grams of ground chicken
- 1 tbsp of liquid seasoning
- 1 tbsp of garlic powder
- 1 tbsp of onion powder
- 1 tsp of black pepper
- 3 tbsp of breading mix
- Chopped spring onion (optional)
In a bowl, combine all the ingredients. Make sure to blend the ingredients well until everything is all incorporated and gluten has properly formed. And marinate for at least 30 minutes.
Make a small ball size, and make sure to grease your hands with oil when shaping to prevent it from sticking to your skin. Then pan-fry on low to medium heat.
Flip the other side every 30 seconds to even the cooking until golden brown. Remove the cooked ones and put them on a paper towel to drain the excess oil. Do the same for the remaining ones.
Much better or easier to cook if it is deep-fried.
Best serve with a dipping sauce.
Try these dipping sauces:
- ½ cup mayo
- 1 small garlic clove, grated
- ½ tablespoon lemon juice
- Or this easy spicy ketchup
- ¼ cup of ketchup
- ½ tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- ½ teaspoon Sriracha
Or serve by simply ketchup, if that is only available at home.
You can also make these ahead simply by pre-cooking them.
In a pot, add 5 cups of water, and dip the chicken balls, when it floats cook for another 2 minutes.
Scoop them with a strainer and place them in a colander to drain excess water. Let it cool before placing them in an air-tight container or plastic bag. Keep it in the freezer for a longer shelf life. You can take it out when you need it.
