Happy afternoon, my lovely community of foodies and all its derivatives. It's a pleasure to be with you again. I'm happy to share with you today a snack attempt I made for my son. Although I'm not very experienced, I gave it a try, and here's a sample.
.
.
Yesterday, on a rainy afternoon, we were craving some bread, but well, we couldn't go out because of the weather, so I got down to work to see what I had in the pantry and wanted to take the risk of making some canilla bread. Before, I'd only made it with a machine, but this time I had to do it by hand, and well, I'm not very good at kneading, but I think I managed.
Here I'll tell you the step-by-step instructions and the recipe.
.
To make the following recipe, you'll need the following ingredients:
.
500g all-purpose flour
30ml vegetable oil
10g yeast
30g sugar
10g salt
250ml warm water
.
The first thing we need to do is make a volcano with the wheat flour and place the water, yeast, and sugar inside (let it sit for 10 minutes to activate the yeast).
Note: I forgot to take a picture of this step, but it's easy to do.
Then, we gradually alternate the ingredients, mixing them together, and once they're combined, we knead for 10 minutes, slowly and slowly.
.
Using a rolling pin, we roll out the dough and, once ready, add the filling and wrap it all around. This is how we create each loaf.
After assembling them, we place them on a baking tray and there, with the help of a knife or an exacto knife, we make some cuts so that the bread has a little decoration and is easy to bake.
The final result is our warm snack ready to eat with coffee. My son loved it, and it's a super easy and quick recipe. We were already eating in less than an hour, so I encourage you to try it.
