One and half month ago, I went out for a birthday meal for one beautiful soul. I had seen her since her teenage time right until now a married woman, and also a baby on the way. I am so happy for her for this new addition, growing healthily in her womb. She deserved a good meal, and I was more than glad to give her a good treat. We settled for a place nearer to us and she chose Miss Ellie's Tea House. LET'S!!!

This restaurant has been around, and it is and very well-sought-after by the community near and far due to the delirious food, kind owners and prestigious cakes.
Ambience
I always think it has very cozy homely ambience, one which will immediately makes you feel at home upon stepping in. Not to mention the waitresses here are friendly too.

Food we ordered
Pulled Beef Pot Pie
It had been years I come here due to busyness and also I seldom frequent to this side of town. So, I was looking forward to the pulled beef stew pot pie. Oh my, it was so so good. The beef stew must have been cooked for hours, so soft and the gravy was so flavorful and appetising. Of course the homemade mashed potatoes and the healthy salad. I love to eat the beef, potatoes and salad together, drizzled with the delicious gravy. My friend got to try too and she also commented, "oh my, this so good!"
Grilled Salmon
My friend had been thinking of salmon and of course she ordered grilled salmon. She also commented it was soooo delicious. Really happy that she enjoyed her meal for herself and little baby inside. ❤️
Coffee and cake!
We ordered pressed coffee for two. Always loved their coffee, highly recommended. And of course New York cheese cake was super delicious, not too overly sweet, the right amount of cheese. Yum! Paired well with the coffee!
Banana Macadamia Slice
I wanted to buy somemore cake for her and she only eyed on this one. So let's get two slices for her, she could eat at home.
Such a great time catching up with each other, knowing we both are busy people and not much time to hang out and talked, unlike those younger time when we got to go out for mamak session often. Cheers to doing life together, my Giraffe sweet friend (yes, she is tall), can't wait to see the bundle of joy. Muacks.
