Free Ice Cream!

in Foodies Bee Hive7 months ago

Good morning Hiveians and foodies! Would you like to enjoy the chill morning with me with some ice cream? Today I would like to show you how my mom and I made some quick and easy to make guanabano ice cream at home! (It was very delicious of course) 😋 Let's dive in!

The name of the fruit in English is "soursop" but you can also call it "guanabana" or "guanabano" which is what the locals seem to call it. So I'll stick with that word the rest of this post to respect its origins! It's white on the inside, it's super nutritious and medicinal and also VERY sweet. It's so good, it has made it very near the top of my favorite fruits list!

With that said, here are the

Ingredients:

  • Guanabano fruit

  • Milk

  • Condensed milk

  • SUGAR..

and Love <3 😄

Let out your anger by whacking, smacking and chopping the guanabano into little pieces (without the peel because it's disgusting haha ;) )

(Try to take out the seeds of the guanabano because they are more sour than sweet)

Throw the juicy fruit into the blender and the rest of the ingredients, how much you add depends on how much you want to make.

the texture 🤤❤️

Then put it into nice ice cream molds (if you don't have them, you can also use cupcake molds like my mama and I did)

We also used a coconut shell to put it in for fun, why not? :)

Put it in the freezer and when it's frozen, try your new delicious dessert! I could hardly wait for it to be done, this put my love for this fruit to a whole new level! I enjoyed it on the patio outside while the sun set, try this at home, if you want to. ;)
It was a nice chunky ice cream, but sweet enough to delight all ages
