Hi @scribblingramma , it is still winter and the oregano was the only thing to survive so far nothing else has come back.
Since we had that 3 day stretch below freezing, I've lost many of my plants that would normally overwinter in ground.
I consider myself well versed in the "make do" school of life, so I use what is on hand.

Oh yes, that kind of weather would certainly wreak havoc on gardening! I've been reading about the soil sprouting method of indoor gardening, and thinking about giving it a try. It would be nice to be able to grow some fresh greens in my own house all winter long.
