Loving greetings to all my Hive friends. I am very happy to be with you again, as last week I was very busy and that kept me away from the beautiful hive. This time I want to tell you about visiting one of my favorite Chinese food restaurants, which by the way, was celebrating 52 years of serving their delicious food in the city.
Its name is Restaurant Nan King, it was founded by a Chinese family that came to our small city in 1971. Since then they have delighted our population with their incredible dishes that combine the Chinese seasoning with the Andean seasoning of our country Venezuela and that makes the Nan King a unique restaurant in the whole region. Last week was their anniversary and they gave a fabulous promotion of 50% discount on all their dishes. I went with my dear @aly.squid, my good friend Laura and her two wonderful grandchildren.
We ordered the favorite of the menu which is the special fried rice, containing ham, chicken and shrimp. I, being a vegetarian, ordered the fried rice with vegetables and egg. Fried rice is one of the specialty of Chinese food in the city, but we all know that the best is at Nan King restaurant, the other restaurants can try it but none do it so well.
To accompany our fried rice we ordered for Aly and Laura a heavenly chicken service, for the two kids a King Junior which brings chicken croquettes and fries. We also ordered two lumpias and as all this has ham and chicken I ordered for me a vegetable Chowmein, which are delicious fried noodles.
What has always characterized the Nan King restaurant is its abundant portions. For that reason we ordered only two servings of special fried rice for Aly, Laura and the kids and the fried rice with vegetables and fire for me, but the plates were overflowing. We had to order all the leftovers to take away, because it was quite a lot of food. We were all satisfied.
The best thing about it was the prices, already cheap without the discount. But because of their anniversary celebration, our entire order came out at only $25, counting the drinks that were not part of the anniversary promotion. We found it exaggeratedly economic, because it was really too much food, 3 more people could have eaten perfectly well.
Another curious fact is that to enjoy this wonderful seasoning you don't necessarily have to be in Venezuela, the Nan King has branches in Orlando, Florida and New Jersey. Un saludo amoroso para todos mis amigos de Hive. Estoy muy feliz de estar nuevamente con ustedes, ya que la semana pasada estuve muy ocupada y eso me mantuvo alejada de la hermosa colmena. Esta vez quiero contarles acerca de la visita a uno de mis restaurantes de comida china favoritos, que por cierto, estaba cumpliendo 52 años de servir su deliciosa comida en la ciudad.
Su nombre es Restaurant Nan King, fue fundado por una familia china que llego a nuestra pequeña ciudad en el año 1971. Desde entonces han deleitado a nuestra población con sus increíbles platos que combinan la sazón china con la andina de nuestro país Venezuela y eso hace que el Nan King sea un restaurant único en toda la región. La semana pasada estuvo de aniversario y dieron una fabulosa promoción del 50% de descuento en todos sus platos. Fui junto a mi querida @aly.squid, mi gran amiga Laura y sus dos maravillosos nietos.
Pedimos lo favorito del menú que es el arroz frito especial, que contiene jamón, pollo y camarones. Yo como soy vegetariana pedí el arroz frito con vegetales y huevo. El arroz frito es una de la especialidad de la comida china en la ciudad, pero todos sabemos que el mejor está en el restaurant Nan King, los demás restaurantes pueden intentarlo pero ninguno lo hace tan bien.
Para acompañar nuestro arroz frito pedimos para Aly y Laura un servicio de pollo celestial, para los dos niños un King Junior que trae croquetas de pollo y papas fritas. También ordenamos dos servicios de lumpias y como todo esto tiene jamón y pollo yo pedí para mí un Chowmein de vegetales, que son unos deliciosos fideos fritos.
Lo que siempre ha caracterizado al restaurant Nan King es sus porciones abundantes. Por esa razón pedimos solo dos servicios de arroz frito especial para entre Aly, Laura y los niños y el arroz frito con vegetales y huego para mí, pero los platos se desbordaban. Tuvimos que pedir todo lo que sobro para llevar, porque era bastante comida. Quedamos satisfechos todos.
Lo mejor de esto fueron los precios, ya de por si son económicos sin el descuento. Pero por la celebración de su aniversario todo nuestro pedido salió en tan solo 25$ contando las bebidas que no estaban dentro de la promoción de aniversario. Nos pareció exageradamente económico, porque realmente era demasiada comida, perfectamente podrían haber comido 3 personas más.
Otro dato curioso es que para disfrutar de esta maravillosa sazón no tienen que estar necesariamente en Venezuela, el Nan King tiene sucursales en Orlando florida y en New jersey. Así que con esto me despido, si tiene la oportunidad de conocer este restaurant estoy segura de que les encantara. Fue un placer compartir junto a ustedes, me despido hasta pronto.
