Montecristo Style Sandwich

Hello, today I bring a recipe that I made for dinner because I really don't like to fall into a routine and always eat the same thing, I like to vary and change the flavors, today I bring this sandwich that is Montecristo style but not exactly a faithful recipe because I made my modifications to my own taste.

Hola, hoy traigo una receta que hice para cenar porque realmente no me gusta caer en la rutina y comer siempre lo mismo, me gusta variar y cambiar los sabores, hoy traigo este sandwich que es al estilo Montecristo pero no exactamente una receta fiel porque yo le hice mis modificaciones a mi propio gusto.

First I made sure to have my bread without crust, even if it seems ridiculous, I used to not like crust but I paid a more expensive price to eat crustless bread so, I started eating bread with crust because I wasn't going to waste my money either, I think that once you go through a crisis where food is limited or there are days where you go to bed without eating, you begin to appreciate everything, no matter how small.

Primero me aseguré de tener mi pan sin bordes, aunque parezca ridículo, a mi antes no me gustaban los bordes pero pagaba un precio mas costoso por comer pan sin bordes así que, empecé a comer pan con bordes porque tampoco iba a desperdiciar mi dinero, creo que una vez que pasas por un crisis donde te limitan la comida o hay días donde te acuestas sin comer empiezas a apreciar todo, por muy pequeño que sea.

I prepared my ham, cheese, the sauce to spread on the bread. Following this I also prepared a mixture of egg, half a cup of milk, salt and pepper. As an extra touch I wanted to add lettuce, as the leaves are very large I cut them.

The first thing we will do is take our slice of bread and spread our sauce on it, it can be mayonnaise or mustard, which are the ones originally used for this sandwich, but I used a mixture of ketchup with mayonnaise. then we began to assemble our sandwich: layer of lettuce, layer of ham and cheese, extra touch I added string potatoes, and there I proceeded with the next layer of bread to repeat what was previously done and finish sealing with a slice of bread and proceed to crush it a little.

Lo primero que haremos será tomar nuestra rebanada de pan y le untamos nuestra salsa, puede ser mayonesa o mostaza que son las que originalmente se usan para este sandwich pero yo utilicé una mezcla de ketchup con mayonesa. seguidamente empezamos a armar nuestro sandwich: capa de lechuga, capa de jamon y queso, toque extra añadí papas al hilo, y ahí procedí con la siguiente capa de pan para repetir lo anteriormente realizado y terminar sellando con una rebanada de pan y procedemos a aplastarlo un poco.

The trick with this sandwich is that it looks fried, this is the point where we are going to dip our sandwich in the milk and egg mixture, we need to dip it everywhere, even on the sides of the sandwich.

El truco con este sandwich es que parece frito, este es el punto donde vamos a sumergir nuestro sandwich en la mezcla de leche y huevo, debemos sumergido por todas partes, hasta en los laterales del sandwich.

Now we must put a tablespoon of butter in a preferably non-stick pan and let it melt and with that we are going to fry all the sides of the bread, even the edges, because it should also look fried on the edges for this we take some tongs or we use two tools very carefully because our bread could open.
